You also need to work on cardio, obviously, to get rid of the fat on top of your new rock hard abs, but it is a great workout and not just for abs. Proper belly dance posture strengthens your back, thighs and surprisingly your shoulders. I would highly recommend trying to find a local troupe and practice with them - as a whole, we're a great group of people and always welcome beginners to our craft!
8/18/2010 11:12:04 AM Report AbuseI believe this will work, I started to do a belly dance video on a Monday for 20 min a day, and today is Friday of the same week and I notice a difference already. I dont have the flat abs yet but I can see a big difference.
