it's interesting that Kickboxing gives a lower readout than Boxing... using the lower body large muscle groups should theoretically increase the burn. Maybe define the exercises, bc I've been in kickboxing classes than I know blast twice the amount that the calculator generated, and I've also been in super high intensity boxing classes like Les Mill's BodyCombat.
I figure if it is giving a reading lower than what you are burning all the better. It gives me a general idea which is what I want
crazy and not appropriate so if your doing a workout like insanity etc your not using weights but your sweating for 55 minutes or do they want your weight -one i burned 60 cal if i use mine i burn 260 Really they have to get together on these things:(
This is very inaccurate, its about heart rate, and you can do 5 hours of exercise but if you are not increasing your heart rate into your ideal zone then you arent burning anything. its impossible to check what calories you are using without looking at your heart rate as an individual
Pretty much the same results as myfitnesspal. @jackson.whitley neither do the aerobic machines at the gym. Its just averages not an exact science.
