-Hey guy, Elessa here from Pursebuzz. So today, we're doing a special video. It's actually a video collaboration with Wayne Goss Makeup. So, during the spring time, a lot of flowers bloom and they're just such a really great array of color, and so, what we're doing is a collaboration based on flowers.
-Pursebuzz, Pursebuzz.
-So, my inspiration was inspired by the Herve Leger Show and also the beautiful lilies that you see during the summer time and spring time
that are just like orange, they're fresh, and they're just so pretty. And so today, I'm gonna show you a really fresh look and also don't forget to check out Wayne Goss' channel so you can see the collaboration of a different kind of look based on flowers as well. So, I think this is a really simple, just a fresh look, you know, great for daytime, and then I'm gonna show you how to bump it up a little bit for a nighttime look. So, the products that I'm using are actually from the Herve Leger Show. The products are literally what we use backstage, a little bit of lip liner,
a little bit of the TEMPTU products, so you guys actually get to see what went on backstage, but not all the products, but a lot of the fun ones. So, the first thing you wanna do is you're gonna put a base on your eyes and I'm gonna be using, this is my MAC Nude Cream Colored Base. It's one that I've been using forever. I just love it, so I'm gonna put that on my lid, and you're gonna apply it from the lash line all the way to your brow bone. Okay, the next thing you're gonna do is you're gonna take a coral color lip liner or eye liner. This is actually the lip liner that was used backstage,
and you can see it's a beautiful coral color. And what you're gonna do is you're going to just really intensify your crease without really bringing too much attention it. You're just going to help define it. So what you're gonna do, you're gonna draw in right underneath the brow bone just like that, and I do the same thing to this side. Don't follow your actual crease right under the brow bone. Then you're just gonna draw a slight rainbow just like that. Then, you're gonna take a brush. I actually wanted to show you guys. This is what I picked up at the makeup show from Crown.
It's super cute but we're gonna try it out today. What we're gonna do is we're just going to fade that line in using a pencil brush 'cause it gives a little bit more of a firmness there and helps diffuse the line. Then, I'm just pulling the color to the outer edge and I will do the same thing and pull the color to the inner edge. So now, you should see 2 small arches on your crease that are slightly peach-coral tone. Now, the next thing you're gonna do is you're gonna apply a little bit of a peach color. So, what I'm using here, this is the TEMPTU Soft Peach.
I'm gonna apply this a little bit on my hand. So, this is actually a blush that we're using. And I'm gonna use it with this brush right here, and just take a little bit, and it's gonna give me this nice, smooth finish 'cause it's a cream base. So, I'm just gonna apply a little bit to the lid, all over, some nice splash of color, and they're gonna go right on top of the lip liner. This look is very simple, but it's very fresh at the same time, and that's why I like it and I wanted to show you guys. Now that you have that color all over your lids, you're going to
apply a little bit of a brow bone color. Since I don't want anything to powder down, I'm gonna use my cream colored base again and I'm going to just put a little bit right underneath the brow bone on both sides. Then I take this flat powder brush, and I'm just going to soften and diffuse that line, and bring this right up 'til it hits the eyebrow. It's gonna create a nice, soft, creamy finish. Okay. Then the next thing you're gonna do is you're gonna apply a brown eyeliner,
and this right here is a little bit of a brownish-red color, but I don't know what brand this is. It's just what we use, so, there it is, a little brownish-red, and we're gonna apply that right against my lash line. Then I'm gonna take that same pencil brush and I'm going to soften this so it's not a harsh line. Now, you're going to draw this right underneath your eyelashes, put in a brown lash line, and you could powder that down if you like. But you're going to keep it really soft and subtle 'cause it's a fresh spring time look. So next thing you wanna do are your lashes. And so, they kept it really fresh and really simple, and I really like that for spring, too, something that's really fresh, just something for like the daytime.
And so, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna be using my Lancôme Hypnôse Drama, which I absolutely love, and I'm using this mascara brush right here. This is the one I got from Crown, and I'm just going to do a little KISS method, get a little bit on the bristles. If you're a makeup artist, this is, like, great so that you don't have to get all those disposables. You can just use one of these and then clean it with like a brush sanitizer like BeautySoClean, and what they did was they only put a little mascara right in the middle. So, if you have
long lashes or you have really full lashes, but I think it's really pretty 'cause it helps open up your eyes without looking like too made up. So, I'm just gonna apply this right on the middle, wiggle it. If you like, you could apply it for the whole entire lashes, but I'm just gonna do it right in the middle. This is great for, like, a colored mascara, too. Just kinda wiggling it in or adding it to the tip. And you're gonna do the same thing for the bottom lash. The next thing you wanna do is to keep a really fresh face and fresh skin. So, I'm gonna be using, this is my
Lait-Creme from Embryolisse, and this is great because it's very moisturizing and it's great for all skin types. It's also very natural. So, you just put it in your dry spots and then distribute it into the areas that you needs. You could also really massage this into the skin especially if you're suffering from dry skin. Now, depending on where you're going or what's going on, you can use either a tinted moisturizer or like something that's really light or heavy foundation, depends on-- on your preference.
I'm gonna be using the TEMPTU Retouch Foundation 'cause that's what they used. I thought this is a really cool applicator. I don't recommend just using the brush straight on. But, you could put this on your hand. And since this is a silicone base, this is gonna last all day. It's not gonna go anywhere. And you just take a little bit, and you just apply it to the trouble spots, and smooth out, and just put it all over your face. So, I'm just gonna put it in my trouble spots here, and the color of that I'm gonna be using is Warm Ivory. Okay. And then I'm just gonna smooth it out for the rest of my face. So, for the next thing is, I wanna keep a really nude lip just to be real natural and just, again, fresh
for spring. So, I'm gonna be using, this is the MAC Flesh Lipglass. It really doesn't have too much color, just a slight natural, yet kind of I wanna say coffee or like a light cafe color, and I'm just gonna apply that directly onto my lips. Since I kept everything really fresh and natural, I'm gonna apply a little bit of gold right here and I'm gonna be using my TEMPTU Champagne. I'm just gonna lightly tap it
right here, right above my cheeks, and then I'm gonna use my fingers to warm it up and blend, just to give myself a little bit of a highlight, where like if I turn to the side, you could see a little bit of cold. But when you're facing me, you can't really see it. And the next thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna apply a little blush. And the blush that I really have been liking, I guess it's one of my-- I guess this could be my March Favorite Picks video, is the Motives Blush that I've been using since November. Like, the first time I tried it, I was like, "This is so pretty!"
So, I'm gonna be using this one right here and this is Sun Goddess. It's a little shimmery, so I think it'll blend really nicely with the highlight color. I gonna use this fan brush here. A lot of you guys were asking where I got it from. I actually got it from Crown, like, it's the same one I've been using from Crown forever. I'm just gonna pop it right here, not too close to the front. I just want a little bit of color. And there you have it, the finished look. It's really pretty just fresh and simple spring look. You know, it's one of those, like, honeysuckle, that new color that I keep talking about, look.
And if you wanted to wrap it up for night, I've been loving, this is the Myface Cosmetics. I got this when I went to New York in, like, February. But it's just really pretty, just pearly color, and I did a video with a friend of mine. So, I'll upload that, too. It's kinda cheesy but it's fun anyway. So, this one right here is called Diamonds and Pearls, and supposedly like, this is a product, it's like a high-end product in a clear packaging, like, they didn't spend too much on the packaging 'cause they wanted to focus on the product. But I really like it 'cause it's pretty. So for nighttime, just apply a little bit on the inner corner,
and it gives you this like extra nice little pearly sparkle. And that's it. Don't forget to check out my friend, Wayne Goss, his makeup video.
