-Hey there, I'm Elessa and welcome to pursebuzz. So, today, I'll be doing a hair tutorial and it's inspired by Kylie Minogue's latest cover shoot when she's in the front of Glamour, the UK edition. And she has this really pretty, it's just like this huge pouf that's up here and she just looks glamorous. I think it's perfect for dates. It's perfect for a night out. I think it's perfect for like anytime or maybe you should have like dirty hair and you don't wanna do it, but you wanna tease it and have it look cute.

I think it's just that perfect. Really quick and simple hairstyle. I'm gonna be using some hot rollers to get my hair a little bit of lift and bounce and a little bit of curl. So, I just purchased the Remington new Hot Rollers here 'coz my other ones, the clips won't work anymore and so I just got this from Target. I hope it works and I guess we'll just find out right now.

The first thing is you're gonna heat them up and you get ready to use them. First thing that I'd like to do is I like to separate my hair and so Kylie has this piece that's like right here. And we're gonna get myself a little bit of a lift here without getting ourselves a tease, and we're gonna be doing that with some hot rollers. So very first thing before you curl is that make sure you have a product that protects your hair from the heat.

So I already applied that and my hair is dry. So, now, I'm just gonna apply some hairspray and it's the LOreal Elnett, so I'm just gonna spray that on this top pieces right now and then work our way back. For the front pieces, you wanna grab a thin horizontal layer like this and then you're gonna grab your hot roller and you're gonna roll it. And you're gonna make sure that you roll it away from your face like this so that you really get a lift especially in the front.

Do the same thing on this side. If your hair is really stubborn, I recommend using some hairspray with each curl. Now, they don't have to be perfect, in line, or anything like that. I recommend just going more ever. You can re-curl it, just going forward. Your goal is to get big hair,

so you're gonna go the opposite direction of where your hair is lying down. To really tease it, just rough it up. The one in the crown, I like to go forward and you'll see why in a bit. So I'm just gonna finish up curling my hair since it's gonna be repetitive in the same way as I'm doing right now and I'll be right back.

Now that my hair is all in these hot rollers, I'm gonna let it set for a little bit when it's cool and I'm gonna remove it and I'll show the next steps. Now that my hair is cool and I release all the rollers, really doesn't matter how you do it if you don't wanna lose track of which ones you've teased.

You can actually do it one by one, so just release this. Spray a little bit here at the roots. Take your comb and just start teasing away. Tease a lot at the roots because you want big hair.

So you're gonna run your fingers through and you can see it already just getting bigger. And it's, eventually, gonna be like this and I don't know exactly what it looks like in the back so I'm gonna do a really tight small French Twist just to tuck the ends in. Best way to attach the rat is to get the part of your hair like kind of in the middle, right here on the crown. You're gonna take it. What you wanna do is just kind of rough it up a little bit. You can even use this clips to clip it in your hair.

But really you just wanna make sure it's stuck in your hair, so I'm gonna clip it. Now that you have this poufy rat thing right here secure, you're gonna take that front part of your hair and you're gonna have to divide that into 3 sections; One section to cover the rat, another section to kind of pull behind your ear, and the one that just kinda hangs. So, we're gonna work on the one that goes right over the rat first. You got that, and then, you're gonna take this piece on the side.

And you're gonna work on concealing it and then bobby pinning in the back. So, I'm gonna conceal it and you're gonna lightly just cover it up. You don't wanna push it back or anything like that. You don't wanna disturb it. This next part's kinda tricky. We're gonna take this piece right here and you're just gonna remember that this is gonna be pulled towards the back so you can bobby pin it down so you can remind yourself like don't touch this piece. Okay, next, you're gonna take this backside right here

and you're just gonna twist it up. Like I said, I'm not really sure what hers looks like and so I'm just gonna twist it up and tuck it in like this, almost like a French twist and then I'm gonna bobby pin it and lock it down. And if any of these pieces right here, I'm going to actually pin curl that.

And I want it still to be very loose at the same time and still very just kind of free-flowing.

Okay. Then, you're gonna release this large piece right here and you're gonna take half of this thin part. Like I said, I don't have a lot so my hairs gonna be a little different. We're just gonna take half and you can join it with this piece right here and you're gonna bring that back. And you're just gonna bring that back and then you're going to join in with the rest of the French twist. Now, if your hair is highlighted, you can actually see a little streaks and strands that are pulled back.

But since my hair is all one color, it's gonna be hard to tell. But trust me that's what the picture looks like. So I'm just gonna conceal a lot of everything else. Okay. So for the side part, now my rollers are really tight and that's why it looks kinda like extra curly. So what you wanna do is either take a large curling iron or you can hair spray it down.

And you're gonna kind of stretch out the curl. Once you do that, you're gonna work your curls and hold them backwards, like this, away from your face and you're gonna spray it and there you have it. The Kylie Minogue look. If your bangs are a little bit shorter like the end here right here, it's gonna look a lot more like curls. My bangs are a little bit longer. But once you understand my concept, it should be a little bit easier to do. It takes a little longer to explain, but in the end it's all worth it.

Thanks again for joining me at pursebuzz and I'll see you guys next time. Bye.
