This speedy homemade applesauce is fabulous with potato latkes or as a healthy snack for kids.
Servings: 2 cups
McIntosh apples, peeled and chopped
brown sugar, or more to taste (optional)
Place apple pieces in a medium microwaveable bowl. Cover and microwave until softened, about 4 minutes. Transfer to a food processor, add brown sugar
, if using, and cinnamon and puree until desired consistency.
