Waffles With Blueberry Maple Syrup

Ingredients:

  • 1/3 cup frozen blueberries
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 2 whole-grain waffles
  • 1 tablespoon pecans

Make it: Microwave blueberries and syrup together for 2 to 3 minutes, until berries are thawed. Toast waffles and top with warm blueberry syrup. Sprinkle with pecans.

I have to agree with everyone on the 1T of pecans. Maybe it is a T from TX?? BTW what size plate do they have these items on? 6", 5" 4" something you put under a coffee cup. We are not fooled but I no longer use my dinner size plates at home. I use the lunch plate.

Cut the blueberries and add nut butter and you've got a good travel meal. (This is something I would do from my old working days. There were days when I had to pack all three meals. I could have eaten dinner out at least, but I'm very cheap.)
