Delicious Smoothie Recipes

You know your diet should include a variety of colors. Consider these recipes your ticket to that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow: a bikini body! For each, put the yogurt in first, then add the solid ingredients and blend until smooth. Depending on how thick you like your smoothies -- and how powerful your blender or food processor is -- you may need to thin these out with a little liquid, such as nonfat milk.

Brenda, liquid diets are very difficult to keep up long-term. You WILL get sick of them after a week or so, trust me! Also some of these have way too much fruit and we all know that too much sugar = weight gain. If your goal is to lose weight and keep it off for good, I highly recommend the Venus Factor. It's basically a program designed specifically for women and it works brilliantly well. Here's a direct link to the guide: -

3 smoothies a day for 5 days-ugh! Not sure I could keep that up and not having a solid meal w/ other proteins like chicken, fish, eggs, etc. And not sure a liquid diet is very healthy, despite having a few blended fruits and veggies.

I frequently have my veggies in a smoothy. Cup of organic spinach, 1/3 cucumber unpeeled and diced, 1 stock celery, whole apple corec or banana, tablespoon or two of honey, five ice cubes, 1/2 cup pineapple crushed or chunked, with juice, 6 oz water. Mix well on "Ice Crusher." Enjoy.
