Should Eye Makeup Come First?

Makeup guru Trish McEvoy believes makeup application should start with the eyes. Why? Follow her expert tips.
Question: "Are you really supposed to make up eyes first?"

Answer: I always apply eye makeup before anything else because it saves time. I can quickly wisk away shadow residue and smudges with a Q-tip soaked in makeup remover. If you already had your whole "face" on, you'd have to wash it off and start all over again to effectively fix flubs.
