On my fit life list: I’m envious of the chicks who can hold those extremely advanced yoga poses. I’m still in the basic stages of yoga, but I’ve already experienced big time improvements in my balance and flexibility. My plan is to continue practicing yoga consistently and work my way up to the most advanced poses.
Most embarrassing song I’ll admit I work out to: This is one embarrassment that I wear like a badge of honor. It’s the song, “It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time.” Check it out on YouTube. I put it on to dance with my kids to fit in some family cardio. Ohhh, the happy shame!
My fave fit snack: Call me the strange one, but broccoli is my favorite snack. I steam it early in the morning, and then chill it in the fridge for a mid-morning or afternoon snack. Yes, I eat it cold! I love the taste, but I’m also compelled to keep chewing broccoli because of its anti-cancer benefits.
My biggest indulgence: Mmmm. Cake! I can serve my food trap extra large cake slices with zero guilt. Why? Although I take my cake eating very seriously, I reserve it for special occasions only a few times per year, so why not indulge?
Olympic sport I’d love to try: Since competitive cake eating will never be an Olympic sport, I’ll settle for gymnastics. As a child, I always wanted to be a gymnast, but never had the opportunity to train. It’s amazing what the human body can do. I’m not ruling out that back handspring I’ve always wanted to do!
