Help! "I want to learn how to use highlighter to perk up my eyes, bring out my cheekbones ,and shape my nose."
-- Denise Kreft, 29, beauty publicist
Trend to try: Radiant skin.
Luminizer can make your face glow and appear energized.
To be a sheen stealer:
Rise and shine. Sweep on loose shimmer powder in the shape of a sideways V, starting above the brow bone and ending over the cheekbone. Catch the light by dabbing a pin-size amount of a cream-based luminizer down the bridge of your nose.
Fake eight hours. With a glittery gold pencil, draw in the inner corners of both eyes to add oomph.
Tone it down. Keep your foundation finish matte so you're not glowing everywhere. "That's the key to appearing sparkly, not oily," Sheriff says.
The Fix: "My skin is gleaming. After I practiced these tricks, my boyfriend said 'Wow, it looks like you actually got some sleep!'"
