"I Wish I Weren't Busting Out"

As Rachel Cooper puts it, "my DD boobs could be more beach appropriate." She doesn't buy styles with underwire, because "they look matronly." But what seems okay in the dressing room often turns "truly tragic," she admits, after a dip in the water. "I've even popped out of my top."

Keep "the Girls" in Line

Our fix: a halter-style bra with full coverage but a thin, sturdy strap. A little shirring on the sides adds polish. "What a difference the dainty strap makes," Rachel says. "Now I'm fully supported and I feel sexy."

Make sure you're not spilling out. Like a tummy hanging over a waistband, breast "overflow" is simply not hot.

What Not to Wear

Skip flared tankinis and high necklines. Both cuts make your upper body appear larger.

Biggerbras.com has a great selection of both bras and swimwear for those of us with rather large bosoms. However, in contrast with this article, I'd have to say that for those who have large breasts, halters are rather unpleasant- there's just too much to hold up.
