HIIT workouts are here to stay, this we know. They get you in and out the door in record time, all thanks to supersets — AKA doing at least two exercises back to back with little-to-no rest in between. How does that work, exactly? Typically, you pair high-intensity exercises with lower-intensity intervals of active recovery, so you're getting your heart rate up, burning fat, and activating that awesome after-burn effect that continues long after your workout is done. (Try this workout that sizzles calories while you sleep.)
But if you're not sure which supersets to do, exactly, this is the workout for you. You'll complete five all together, with toning moves to top it all off at the end. Follow the video below for by-the-minute instructions, but know this going in: You'll complete five series of exercises, one right after the other. Once you're done with all five, it's back to the beginning. Complete each series twice and it'll be time for the next thing on your to-do list. (Want more HIIT? Try our 30-day HIIT challenge.)
