The Kung Fu Kickboxing Workout with Tiffany and Max Chen DVD Review

What says:

"Two champion fighters show you how to bob, weave, punch, and kick your way to a better body.

"Chinese martial arts champions Tiffany and Max Chen share their training secrets in a workout program designed to get you in the best shape of your life. Their Shan Shou boxing style incorporates wrestling and kicking techniques that quickly build the strength, speed, agility, endurance, and reflexes of a fighter. This program allows you to choose the level of instruction and intensity you need, including a music-only option once you get the moves down. Whatever option you choose, you'll get a heart-pumping workout that will tone your shoulders, arms, abs, glutes, and legs. Feel the burn and see results fast."

What Jenna says:

"This is the absolute best ever! I mean honestly, if I were to star in my own workout video, this is the one I would make.

"The DVD starts with a mini intro to the technique and history. After the intro, the DVD is divided into three workouts: The Basics, The Kicker, and The Killer.

"Each one of the moves is done in 30 second intervals and they may seem basic, but they are definitely butt busters. Tiffany also does the workout with Max and me, so I totally had a handle on her fitness level. I really like that. For me, it is uber important to see the video stars huffin' and doin' right along with me.

"Another thing that I love about this DVD: The voice-over instruction. Tiffany and Max know this thing is difficult. And they value the integrity of the moves, so Tiffany gives the play-by-play via a recorded device. And boy does she know what she is saying! "Don't forget to breathe," is a favorite commentary, which quite frankly I needed. She also stresses the importance of doing the moves at your own pace within the 30-second time frame. And Tiffany constantly reminds me that proper technique is the most important part of the workout. In addition to the tips on form and execution, she also explains the benefits of each move, which is something that always keeps me moving."
