Doing loads of biceps curls without getting sleek, defined arms? Here's a tip: Flip your grip. "After a set of traditional, knuckles-up curls, turn your wrists so palms face in and hinge your forearms out 45 degrees," says trainer Jason Strong. "Last set, turn knuckles down and hinge forearms out to sides."

This article would be so much better if you showed pics of the alternate ways to do the exercise, such as the bicep curl. I imagine I could get it once I tried it, but it would be easier to understand the alternate ways of holding my hands and arms with photos. Thanks! Always looking for ways to change things up!

The radius also rotes to cause supination and pronation of the forearm or wrist. If he is an expert, he should know this. Is he wanting the person to externally rotate the upper arm or shoulder joint to be more specific to bring the forearm out to the side of the body???
