"This year I want to help others get healthy through my work with DRIVE4COPD, raising awareness of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and encouraging people to get screened in honor of my grandma, who died from the disease. Moving to NASCAR full time in 2012, I hope to continue to raise my fitness level for racing. Driving requires a balance of strength and endurance. To stay strong, I'll have to lift weights, run for cardio, practice yoga, and make sure to really challenge myself during every workout."

I'm so conflicted. Danica Patrick, don't you realize that Nascar (with its insane emissions into the atmosphere) is one of the most ridiculous contributors to respiratory problems such as COPD? I do hope you use that admirable drive and accomplishment of yours to actually change the world, as you've been able to change perception of women in it.
