What you failed to mention is that all runners or athletes, need at least two pair of shoes. This is so you can alternate day after day. By wearing a different pair each day you allow the pair you used yesterday to air out(allowing the insoles to reloft). You will find the investment worth every penny as the shoes will last twice as long and the shock will be lessened on a daily basis. Asics Kayano was not mentioned and is a great training/running shoe. I am a heavy runner and Kayano is best.
