- Step left foot out to side so that feet are slightly wider than shoulder-width apart, and squat as you bend elbows to scoop arms forward until palms face you at eye level. Return to start.
- Do 10 reps. Switch sides and repeat. Do 3 sets.

Most of these exercises include squats, which are impossible for people who have lost cartilege in their knees due to arthritis or surgery (torn meniscus, etc.) How can these be adapted for something not so hard on bad knees??
