My husband and I have a tradition of spending Halloween in the dark, surrounded by candles, watching "scary" movies that we loved as kids (Charlie Brown, Hocus Pocus, etc.) and eating gobs of candy. Since we're both trying to lose weight, this year we're doing the same thing, except I'm switching out the candy for a fresh veggies and homemade hummus, air popped popcorn with spices and apple slices with a lowfat caramel dip.

You have to think is this bite worth it? If so, eat it and enjoy. I lost 72lbs. and created a bracelet that tracks your weight loss during my weight loss journey. I wear it all the time as a reminder when I reach for food, such as these examples. It's called the poundpuncher bracelet.

I agree with Rosie. To give up the special treats you truly crave seems like cruel and unusual punishment to me. Moderation is the key. It's amazing that a fun-sized candy bar can be as fulfilling as a full-sized one. In fact, I find myself slowing down when I know it's a small-sized treat and enjoying each and every bite:)

4 MINI Snickers are only 170 calories. 320 is closer to what 4 FUN SIZE Snickers would be at around 71 calories each.

I think just a few won't hurt but don't overdue it.
