My Diet: "Breakfast is a whole-grain English muffin with peanut butter. Lunch is turkey chili and a salad. Dinner is salmon, a sweet potato, and veggies. I snack on nuts and mini bags of microwave popcorn."

My Guilty Pleasure: "Ice cream! I eat a no-sugar triple-chocolate flavor. It's rich, so I don't overdo it."

My Workout: "I do cardio for 60 minutes three days a week. Two or three times a week, I strength-train with weights or a resistance band."

My #1 Motivator: "My health. I work in a hospital setting and see the complications of being obese."

My Workout: "Five days a week, I run for 60 minutes and do weights for 60 minutes."

My #1 Motivator: "The adrenaline rush I get from crossing a finish line! After my first race, I was hooked."

"I Feel So Much Younger": Before

After years of battling to eat right, Anne Via Zakielarz got motivated to lose 98 pounds.

"I grew up in an Italian family, eating a lot of homemade lasagna, bread, and fried zucchini," Anne says. In high school Anne burned off the calories as a cheerleader, but felt self-conscious at 175 pounds. Anne married at 19, got pregnant at 20, and quickly put on 75 pounds. After the baby, Anne remained at 250 -- and added another 15 pounds over the next 10 years. Anne soon realized she needed to slim down, and within three months, she had dropped 20 pounds. Three years later, she had lost a total of 98 pounds. "Now I can trade clothes with my daughter!"

My #1 Motivator: "I formed friendships with people I only see at the gym. So If I want to hang out with them, I have to work out."
