"Healthy Carbs Helped Me Lose 145 Pounds"

Samantha's Weight-Loss Plan

The Diet: For breakfast, Samantha has two egg whites and two ounces of broiled salmon. Lunch is grilled chicken salad. Dinner is chicken or fish with salsa and steamed cauliflower. She snacks on raw veggies, whole wheat cereal, and hard-boiled egg whites.

The Workout: Samantha does 90 minutes of cardio (elliptical, cycle, treadmill) and 30 minutes of strength training five times a week.

Biggest Temptation: Buffalo wings. "When I crave them, I make grilled chicken with hot sauce."

What She Couldn't Wait to Wear: Trendy underwear. "I actually cried the first time I went shopping at Victoria's Secret and was able to fit into the colorful, sexy bras and undies."

This story is very inspiring to me. Congratulations Samantha!!! Great job. I am a 42 year old woman and I am 5ft 1/2in tall, and I weigh 210 pounds. I would love to try this diet plan that Samantha did, but have a very hard time eating fish. Can anyone help me with a healthy, low carb plan to lose at least 80 pounds. Samantha if you read these post please respond. I need help. I walk 4 miles pretty much every morning. PLEASE ADVISE AND HELP :o(

I lost 50 but have 30 to go. I am 179 and this is the hardest part as I cant excercise like I use to due to a hip replacement . I love cookies and wine that is my addiction. Just one cookie a day but still it adds the pounds. Congratulations on your weight loss. Amazing transformation.

Definitely a motivating story. With Samantha being in my age range I can relate to everything in her story. I played soccer all 4 years of high school and add cross country & weight lifting my senior year. Now that I have a career that causes me to sit at a computer anywhere from 8.5 to 12.5hrs a day & rotating shifts. Finding someone that is able to lose this amount of weight in a year shows that it can be done. Way to Go!!
