I need 2432 calories per day? lol I don't think so. I'm only 5'9"/153 lbs. I'm sure it's less than that to maintain my weight...
Great help. Keep it up for the benefit of elders like me. Thanks
This tool said I need 2003 calories/day based on my working out 3-5 days/week (bootcamp, etc). I maintain my current weight (myfitnesspal app) by sticking with 1300-1400 calories/day. I go down to about 1200/day whenever I don't get my workouts in as I'd like. The BMI calc seemed ok. I'm 5'4" and 126 lbs and happy with my body and level of fitness. I'd like to lose 2-3 more lbs and tone my abdomen due to two kids and multiple pregnancies. Over 2000 calories/day and I'd weight 160!
This is totally incorrect! I have had this measurement done with professional equipment and your calculation is 700 calories off. You should take this tool off your site immediately. If I ate the recommended additional 700 calories a day you are suggesting, I would gain a LOT of weight! This is irresponsible of you to lead people to believe this information is accurate. JMO
I have to agree with above. If I ate 2126 calories per day I wouldn't get through the front door! BUT! Love the site and the other information.
