Hey guys, it's Elessa, and today I'm going to be doing a product review on the Maybelline Tattoos. I'm really excited. I haven't done a review on this channel for a long time and I miss it. I love doing reviews because they're very informative and they're super fun. So this is one that I'm going to be doing and it's the Maybelline Color Tattoo. I'm really excited but today is my birthday! Yay! So, thank you so much everybody for the birthday wishes. I wanted to give a special shout-out
and a special thank you for my Hello Kitty brush belt. Oh no, there's more. It is a brush roll bag, the [unk]. Look! And it's pink in the zipper. I love it, love it. Thank you! And then I went to [unk] and I bought a memory card with 32 gigs, so I can film and film and I'm like-- and then run back and stop and run back, so I'm excited. For those you guys who don't really care about my personal [unk], you guys can skip forward
or skip that button over there so that you guys can jump right into the review 'cause I'm gonna keep going. And instead of a cake this year, I got a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts. I'm so excited 'cause they're so yummy and I was like, maybe I should do a review on these individual doughnuts 'cause I picked one in each 'cause I was like it's my birthday. I can do whatever I want. And I got like cheesecake, which is a little dry, and then the Éclair which was 50 cents more, which I don't think it's really worth the 50 cents more 'cause there's not enough cream
in the middle, and then a whole bunch of others, but it's really good. I'm really excited and I'm gonna eat a whole bunch of these along with some Chocolate Malted Crunch Ice Cream because I picked some of that up today when I picked up some new eyeshadows. Okay, so this is the one you guys have been waiting for. This is the Color Tattoo from Maybelline. It's a 24-hour wear and there's like lots of different colors. They range from like this black to like taupes to naturals to like bright colors. So I couldn't find any of the natural colors.
The only ones I got were bright colors, which was perfectly fine for me because I really like them and I would have bought this anyway, but I heard that they're really hard to find. So really, I went online and I did a search and I went to shopping on the side and it says that [unk] has it, Walgreens has it and it tells me exactly which Walgreens has it. So maybe you should try to find out whether or not your location has this. This is $6.50 each and I bought it for $6.50 plus the buy 1 get 1 half off, and I'm gonna tell you right now, I love it. I am so
excited about this. I wish they came in more colors like yellows and different purples and blues because they really are-- they're $6.50. At first, I didn't wanna buy them at $6.50 'cause I was like, "ah, what if I hate it" 'cause I hate returning makeup that I've already used. I feel bad. Half of the time because usually I'm like, "I'd like to return this 'cause it crap" and I feel a little bad so-- anyway, this is something I love. I'm so excited. I'm gonna go over the colors. You guys can see swatches pop up on one of these sites depending on how I feel
when I'm editing, but you also can see swatches of course on Pursebuzz.com. For you guys who don't know already, I do a lot of stuff on there like swatches and reviews. So check that out. Alright. So this very, very, very first one right here is this greenish teal color and this one is called Edgy Emerald and it's pretty. It looks like MAC Aquadisiac eyeshadow in a gel form, so they did talk about this gel technology, ink technology that makes it last forever.
But they didn't like explain it so I can't really explain it to you guys. But pretty much, it's a gel-based product and you need to close it tight when you are done with it. The color in my screen is pretty accurate. So as you can see here, it's the Emerald Green and then next to it, Tenacious Teal, so you could see the big difference there. I really like them and I really stand out and I'm just so-- I'm so excited because I also bought a whole bunch of other Maybelline stuff that are dupes for other products, so keep on watching and don't forget
to subscribe. And then this one right here is like my absolute favorite 'cause I love orange and I'm like I love orange! They're like oranges, one of those colors that don't get enough attention. And this one right here is Fierce and Tangy. When I saw this, I was like, "heck, yes!" I love it because you rarely see orange bases like this and it's kind of frosty. It's almost like a pearl-like, so it's not like glitter chunks or anything like that. So you can matte it out with your matte eyeshadows, but it really is just beautiful and you could see it on my hand right here.
But this is like faded already after a few hours of wear on its own. I didn't use a primer or anything. And this is an orange tangy one again. I put free swatches right there for you guys to see. And then this purple one, this is really pretty. It's-- this is really fresh purple and you can see it on my eyes right now, and what I did was I just put it into the crease and then I put on top of that an Urban Decay color, I think Ransom, and it really just set the color. So you could see it's really true to life.
It doesn't crease or anything like that. So this purple one is called Painted Purple, really like this one. I have nothing bad to say except that it's gonna be hard to find and you should go buy them like now. Go online and check all of your drug stores, see which one has coupons. And then the last color is Too Cool which I think is one of like a must-have because it's so frosty and it's like opaque enough where you could put your colors on top, but it's not gonna budge. It's the one--
it's what I have right here on the inner corner on this lid area and then on my brow bone, and it's just a great frosty color. You can use this as an eyeliner and then put your eyeshadow on top and it doesn't smudge. It's so nice for like the inner corners. It's really hard to find a pearly white eyeliner that doesn't smudge or budge, and this one right here is perfect! So I really like this. I recommend this one because you can put pretty much any color on top to make it pop. But I like the color base 'cause it really makes colors opaque. Now, [unk]
is that they're great. They are a little bit powdery, so like it dries to finish. Do you see that? See it doesn't go anywhere. That's what's so amazing about this. It dries and when you put powder on top of it, it doesn't look crapey. It doesn't look old. It doesn't make like little scaly kind of look. I hate that with some bases that are really thick. So I'm really excited about this. I really highly recommend them. The con is that they're hard to find and you can't test it out in the stores.
And you know what? I tried to compare this to the MAC Paint Pot but MAC doesn't have these colors, so that's what makes it even better. So I have pretty much almost every MAC Paint Pot ever made because I really like them. And they start to phase them out and only have the regular colors like the browns and the black and things that are more natural. So that's what makes this really exciting is that they work the same way if not better because of the price. You can get 2 of them,
but the colors, they're just so much more vibrant. There are greens and sometimes they come out with like special editions from MAC, but you can't get them, so I recommend this. I don't know if they're permanent. It's hard to tell on their website and in the way their displays are in the store. I think it's like a test like they're trying to see whether or not it will become permanent. Okay, so I have been talking forever long already about these Maybelline products. I highly recommend them. I think they're so great. Look at my eyes. They're just like really smooth and I love it. I've been out in the rain
like I said 'cause it's my birthday and I'm like, "aahh!" So the best way to apply this is either with a brush like this is a synthetic brush from MAC. I don't know the number-- oh, 249. And you just take the product and then you can put this onto your lid just like that, or you can use your fingers. I don't really recommend using your fingers, but you can if you want to, and then you just smear out the edges and then you put on your eyeshadow or you put this on as an eyeliner and it works a great base
so that your eyes don't smudge so you could see my purple hasn't smudged or anything like that. So, that's how you apply it. That's the best way. You could also use a fluffy brush once you apply the product. You just kind of fluff it up, but I recommend using a brush much like this. And-- ooh! So I'm really excited. I'm gonna show you guys this before you guys go. It's my Pursebuzz clutch. I'm so excited because it's all rhinestones and it's actually faux leather and so the rhinestones are underneath and then there's
slits that have it so that the rhinestones will peer through and it's not gonna fall off. And it holds a bunch of stuff. I don't have my stuff in here, but you could see it has this cute little bow on here and I'm really excited. It holds so much. You can get like a strap with it, so I'll wear this out tonight.
