-Happy New Year, you guys. This is the Chinese New Year Makeup Tutorial and I picked a little bit of coral, oranges, and kind of like a reddish color because I know with the Chinese New Year, it's always all about red and gold. And so, I wanted to say Happy New Year and I don't know how to say it in any other language. I think I tried last year saying it in Vietnamese and then they will make fun of me but I think it's "Chuc Mung Nam Moi." Now, I think it was the year before that. Oh, my gosh. I don't remember. Time flies.
So, here's my tutorial. It's another one of the K.I.S. S. tutorials which means at super fast and quick and I'm using the new NARS Spring Collection along with BH Cosmetics. I've got high-end and low-end in this tutorial. If you do the look, please send it to me. I love to see it. And, if you're interested, keep on watching. We'll start of the New Year with gold. Apply a golden coral eye shadow base. This will make the colors pop.
I'm using MAC Rubenesque. Dust on a sheer matte eye shadow like Stila Bare to seal the base. This will prevent any unevenness later. Now, pat on BH Cosmetics Gold on the inner half of the lid with a flattened shadow brush. Using the same brush, pat on the soft matte rose on the outer lid. I'm using NARS Douce France Trio.
Now, stop short of the last eyelash. Take a crease brush and a matte pink-reddish color and apply it to the crease. Your crease is typically under your brow bone, so feel for that tip in the bone. Drag and fed up the colors as you get to the inner corner. Pat a soft frosty BH Cosmetic Rose on the inner part of the [unk] for added depth and texture. To softly deepen the crease, apply a dip mob from the BH Cosmetics Palette #4 in your crease brush.
Using a soft brush, apply your highlight color and blend. Next, take the blackest eyeliner and apply that to the bottom lid and water light. Draw on a gold to the inner corner. Now, blend the edges for that sexy gold blackish look. Using your liquid liner, line the top. I'm using Velvet Liner, the bestest liner ever. Now, move your head and not the liner for the straightest line. Create a flick to compliment your lashes
depending on the size they are. For added glam, it's totally optional. Add gold liquid liner to the top of the black. I'm using the Urban Decay El Dorado, the same name as the eyeliners so it makes it easier. Remember, small strokes first ease and do the inner eye part last. Be careful not to blink until it's dry. Glue on your false lashes and don't forget to check out my one-minute false eyelash application video. It is [unk].
Now, brush on your mascara and don't forget to do the bottoms first and then the top to avoid any mishap. Apply your coralish blush and highlight. I'm using the Benefit Cha Cha Tint and High Beam. Now, I'm trying out Christina shadow tip for my blush. Now, to finish off the look. If you have dry skin and you don't want to finish it off with a translucent powder, you can take a finishing spray like this. This is the Urban Decay
De-Slick and I'm using my puff here that I got from Alcone. Just the other side from where I did my blush. Then, I'm gonna spray it and then you go just lightly pat that on to your skin so that all the oils will absorb and your makeup will be finished with the setting spray instead of the translucent powder. Then, you could just spray this on your face as like a final finish. And then for the lips, I don't want anything too intense. So, I'm just gonna use the Revlon Peach Parfait and I'm gonna apply this to the lips.
And, you're gonna go on a one-direction. Get right into the cracks and that completes the look. It's really simple to do. It's just a lot of really soft corals and oranges. I think it's perfect for Chinese New Year because it has like the reds and the gold and it's like kind of that lucky kind of theme. And, I think it's really pretty. It's also very soft. So, it's like the [unk] during the day and at night. And thank you so much. Do forget to subscribe if you haven't, alrighty? Also, don't forget to check out my other channel where I do all of the product reviews.
And, my next one is going to the BH Cosmetics, the number four. So, go and check that out. Thank you so much for watching and I'll have all of my pictures on pursebuzz.com and I'll see you guys later. Happy New Year. Bye.
