Hey, guys. It's Elessa here and welcome to the Dressing Room. Some of the most popular items that are selling out there right now are shoes, chunky heel shoes and wedges. And so today, I'm gonna talk about some of the tips and tricks on the best way to wear chunky heels and wedges. So the very first one is-- these are Jeffrey Campbell's Litas. They're a little more extreme than the other items that I'm gonna show you. Since they're one of my favorites, I'm gonna show you guys them first. So here they are. These are the chunky

heels and what I recommend with chunky heels and wedges, if you're trying to go for something that's a little bit more slender for your figure and the most flattering is to stick with something that really shows off your legs, something that will show your ankles, something that's really tight up here. And if you are wearing something like a fluffier skirt, to keep it short. Here are the Litas. These are a little bit more wild like I mentioned, but they are definitely fun, something that you'd wanna wear [unk] plain or something like this with like very little

color, not too much patterns or you can go to the extreme and wear lots of patterns, but I recommend if you're just kind of unsure about wearing some funky fun chunky heels is to wear something simple like this. Now here's another extreme look I wanted to bring out something that was a little crazy is something that's a little fluffier, but you can see how you could still see my legs and so it doesn't make it look too [unk]. And if I bring this skirt that's down here and it's flared out, the only part of my leg is gonna be showing will just be like a foot of it, so it's not gonna

really help me. It's not gonna be very flattering, so if you're looking for something like that, stick with something short and a little peppy like this. The next pair of shoes I have here are wedges and these are from the Fergie collection that I got from [unk]. I really like them. They're super comfortable but they're also a chunky heel. So this particular pair has a rounded nose, so you can get away with them and that's a little bit more chunky-like, maybe some baggy shorts or even like a cute skirt that flares out or like a one-piece dress. But you still don't want to

have something that's long, be it a long maxi dress. That's a no-no because it will hit to here and then all of a sudden you see these huge wedged boots. So you wanna keep really slender right here on the leg area, maybe some skinny jeans, some leggings, just so that it can keep that nice slender illusion. So that's what I have on right here, the same exact dress. Now if you wanna go for something a little bit more funky, you can wear a fun bag like this. This is something that's a little bit larger. It's a little bit more overpowering.

But, since you're wearing something that's really form-fitting, you can still get away with it and still look very fashionable, not so-- 'cause the keyword today is funky. The next set of wedges that I have here are the ones that I picked up while I was in Australia, but you can get them pretty much anywhere. Steve Madden has them and then you can always go to like the higher-end brands. But this one right here is an Italian designer and you can see they're the Oxford style. It's definitely something that's dressy. You can wear this to the office with a suit. You can wear it with some really neat skinny jeans, some leggings that cut

right at the ankle so that you can still see the wedge or you can actually wear them with flared jeans that will cover up the entire shoe and that will make you look a lot taller because you have so much fabric here coming from your waistline down to the floor. So that gives you the illusion that you have nice, slender legs, nice and long. But as you can see here, the best thing to do when you're wearing chunky heels if you're just kind of not sure is to either cover them up with some pants that like flare all the way over or something that cuts

right short and really tight and form-fitting around the leg area. And I really like wedges and chunky heels 'cause they're really easy to walk in. It's one of those things that really gives you the height but I still can walk briskly and fastly, you know, and-- fastly? I wonder if that's a word. And you can just walk a lot faster, you know. You don't have to balance on that really tiny stiletto heel. So with the chunky heels and wedges, you could wear them a lot longer-- oopps, I must have taken the play right there. Okay.

So there you have it, those are some of the chunky heels and wedges that I have and I wanted to show you some of the styles that you can wear with it, is definitely stick with pants that are tighter or dresses that are short and it could be flared out if you want to. Definitely try to make sure that the patterns are something like if you're wearing some bright, bright colored shoes to have a complementary color on top. Just stick with like a solid color if you're not really sure. Thank you so much for joining me here at the Dressing Room. Let me know on the comments what your favorite

kind of wedge shoe is and I will see you guys later. Bye.
