Fort Lauderdale Boat Show

Hi! Welcome to the 49th annual of Fort Lauderdale Boat Show, which many believed to be the largest boat show in the world. Everything from mega yachts to fishing boats. There's something for everybody. If you're a serious boater and you're really looking for a bargain, is this the place to come? Fort Lauderdale Boat Show? Couldn't be a better place you can get a bargain on a boat. You rank it in the top. You've to boat shows is all around the country. All around country. This is one of the best. They're really is. They have something for everybody even if you're not a buyer you have a lot of fun on the show just looking at the neat things that people can make. The first thing you wanna do when you get to the show is pick up 1 of this program guides. Now, the boat show is spread out all over the place. You got the convention center. You got the in-water displays here, but don't let that deter you. You can take a free shuttle bus or hop on 1 of this water taxis for $10. Get the program and cross off what you've seen and where you've been. So, you have a plan. You come out here with a plan? And then plan to stay for about a week. Here we are on Sports Fishing Row. This is where all the big sports fishing boats are. It's almost synonymous with Florida. These are the boats that head out to shore everyday to go catch the big fish: marlin, wahoo, dolphin. You name it, it's out here. It's a good place to start. A good place to check out because these are boats people just dream about. Now, this boat right here. This is a classic old-school roundabout. Now, this is something you expect to see on a Northern Lake in the 1930s. Classic design just beautiful, but surprisingly this boat is built right here in Florida. This boat is a classic, but it's actually is a brand new boat. It's all fiberglass. It has the old world look, but with all the new technology. It's a fun little ride. Now, when people think of Florida, they think of big, fast boats and when you think of big, fast boats, you think of Cigarette. You do! Cigarette is the ultimate ocean-going racing boat. There's nothing like a Cigarette. Why, actually I don't think there'll anything be like a Cigarette. 22,000 pounds with 600 horsepower engine, it runs 65 to 66 miles an hour. Wow! Oh! We've been often been imitated. We've never been duplicated. Here we are on Super Yacht Road. This is the home of all the mega yachts. Now, technically a mega yacht is considered any boat 80 to 180 feet long. Now, these are multimillion dollar yachts and only a few people in the world can afford them. Today is the day when all the serious buyers come to look at these boats, but people like me we just like to come and look and dream. Now, the boat show has more than just boats. It's got marine accessories. Everything from sunglasses, to deck shoes, to fishing gear, t-shirts, jewelry, you name it. A great place to see that kind of stuff is over at the convention center where they have lots of inside displays. So, if you're really serious about buying a boat. You've come to the right place because there are many deals to be had. There are literally thousands of boats here, but it can be kind of daunting unless you have a plan. So, before you come, do a little homework. Know exactly what kind of boat you're looking for. You wanna look at the boats that have been around a while. Look for the names, talk to some of your friends. The many factions, they've been around a long time are gonna be here for a long time in the future. Through the course of the day, you've seen all sorts of boats everything from small family cruisers to big mega yachts. There's something for everybody here at the boat show.
