Hey, welcome to Purse Buzz. Today I'm going to show you the latest hair tutorial from Miley Cyrus' latest video Can't Be Tamed. It's---- first she has this huge poof, and her hair is kinda scraggly and fun and crazy. And I think it's really fun, I think it's a great look for summers, sometimes you get night looks.
Something that's like fun, a little wild. So, I'll show you how to do that right now. The very first thing that I did was when I washed my hair and was wet and I came out of the shower was that I created a little bit of a poof, and you can see how that's done in my wet to set video. And I have a link right here. Okay, so once you have that----
my hair is now dry, you could actually like speed up with like a blow dryer. I kinda cheated a little bit, so now I have like a natural poof where I don't have to use too much hairspray and too much teezing. But since her poof is huge, like up here we're gonna do a lot of teezing to get this mile high. Okay there's going to be a couple of specific products that you're gonna need---- is 1, some bobby pins, a special comb like this with the tail---- the rat tail comb. Some hairspray, and a soul brush. And just looking at my reflection here I kinda louk like----
I'm like straight from like a hair band, there we go. Perfect, you're done. Alright, I'm just kidding. I'm gonna show you how to really create this look right now. The first thing you're going to do is you're going to section off your hair, and this front part right here is what you're going to use as kinda like your semi fohawk. So, what you want to do is you're going to create a little bit of a tingle. And this right here is going to be teezed as much as possible, and you can do that later. So, what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take this and put to the front and just kinda try to point
down, the reason why I'm doing that is I'm going to give myself a little bit of a lift too while I'm working on the back side. So, my hair isn't as long as Miley Cyrus' hair, so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna use my extension. And I'm gonna be using my Dollie hair extensions. This is a medium brown which like kind of brown with a little red, it matches my hair perfectly. And you can check them out on their website. And the ones that I have here are the deluxe one just because I want a little bit thicker fuller hair. Also gonna have a quick review on these two, so don't forget to check
that out. Okay, so there's a couple of different styles here. And I've already curled these in the past and I just leave them like this, so it's kinda got that little stringy straggly look, kinda like Miley's so that's perfect. So, there's different sizes, so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna leave this one with the 4 clips alone. I'm not gonna use that because that's just too much for this look. Okay, so I have the 2 clips, I'm gonna use those smackdab in the middle, and I've got these two with a 3 which I'm gonna use towards the bottom of my---- the first thing is I'm going to start from the bottom
and I'm going to take my comb and I'm going to divide my hair straight across. And you're gonna want to feel it, make sure that it's even and ---- okay the next thing I like to do is spray a little bit of hairspray. And the reason why I do that is because it keeps the clips in much longer. It doesn't matter what extensions you have, you do the same thing. I really like these because they're light weight. So, I'm gonna take the 3 and I'm gonna take this middle piece here and I'm going to twist it, and take this comb
and snap it closed. Take it on this side and twist it, and snap it closed until you get on this side. So, these are really tight clips. The first time you use it it's going to be really tight, you kinda want to break them in, but you could see how it's super duper tight. So, the next one I'm gonna take is the 4 clips, but the shorter 4 clips I'm gonna add that right here. So, I'm just gonna let some hair down.
And you're going to feel to make sure you have enough hair to twist. And I clip this up, and you're going to do the same thing. You want to make this straight as possible right here, I don't have a mirror so I'm just kinda guessing. And you're gonna teez.
And then I'm going to do 2 more down the middle. And the reason why I'm using the short ones is because I'm going to do this fohawk so I wanted to really thicken it up in the middle.
And I'm going to do 1 more and I'll be right back. So, the next thing is you're going to let all of this hair down, and you're going to see how it's kind of coming together already. Okay, now that I have all of my clips in I'm going to let this down---- you wanna make sure that your extension is in good, nice and tucked away---- going on and you can kinda see the look forming already. Now what I'm going to do is I'm going to start towards the back here. As far as I can, but not where the extension is at. And we're going to start to
teez. And since this is underneath, you can teez it as much as you'd like. I'm just going to take this Bristol comb right here because I want some heavy duty teezing. You're going to take really thin long pieces, and you're going to spray front and back. Work that in there. And you got your next layer here. See how crazy that is. You're gonna
kind of form it and you're gonna lower it just a little bit when you're done. So, don't worry. You want this spread piece right here to be really smooth. I'm sure you're going to hide this bird nest at the back here. Okay, now that we have this craziness going on, we're going to pull our hair back on the 2 sides just like this. And I'm not going to take a lot, I'm just going to take whatever's above my ear. You know, I'm going to pull it back and I'm going to secure it with a bobby pin. So, you can do this
before the teezing, you can do this after the teezing it doesn't matter. I'm going to take 1 on top and 1 on the bottom. Start doing the top---- we're just going to lock that in and then you're going to take your hair and kinda hide it. You do the same thing---- again, you're only going to take whatever is out here to this small piece and then you're going to fold it inward. Okay, now that I have this big hair
I'm going to take this piece right here---- now if your hair is kinda curly or a little curls back, then you can really just spray it back there, but I now have to curl mine just a little bit at the ends so that it kinda hugs with the rest of my hair. I'm taking a hot tools curling iron, because I don't want a real curl I just want it to be pulled back, just like that. Then I'm going to take this part right here, and I'm going to cheat a little bit because my bangs are kinda short. And I'm going to use a bobby pin. So, what I'm going to do is I'm going to pull it back and kind of give it a little bit of a poof, and I'm going to have to actually secure it down instead of just
hairspraying it. Took me a little bit bigger than what I started with, a little bit more loose. And I'm going to take a bobby pin, just clip one there and one on this side to do the X. And then for the rest of my hair depending on the texture that you have you can actually curl it or you can just like scrunch it. What I'm going to do to make this really authentic is I'm just going to teez it. Just a little bit at the ends and a little bit on the top layer of my hair.
Hey I'm going to finish off the look with a little hairspray in the front---- okay I'm going to put a lot of hairspray. Kinda push it upward. Right a little bit here. Kinda give a little texture to it. Now I just washed my hair today which I think is the best for this look, because it's not really shiny. It's more like crazy birds nesty style, but I like it . It's really sexy and it's really fun. And that completes the Miley Cyrus look from Can't Be Tamed. A little fohawk with some
crazy long hair. If you want to learn more about the extensions let me know in the comments and here's one of them, so you don't need all of them. Sometimes if you're going to like a special event or if you want a lot of hair you can put them all in, but if you're doing something fun, just kind of creative then just a couple of pieces will work. So, again if you want to know a little bit more let me know in the comments.
