Hey guys. Welcome to pursebuzz.com. Today, I'm gonna show you how to do the Carrie Underwood ribbon right here. It's actually very easy to do, and it takes maybe like 20 minutes just depending on what you're doing. I was doing it as well as watching TV, and this is the first one that I did and the only one that I did, and it came out really nice and so I'm gonna show you how to do it. It's actually just 4 pieces of bundled up bunched ribbon, and then you can wear it on the side like that, and it's really cute. Just make sure

you get some really nice, softer ribbon like this. I got this on Walmart and then a headband just like this that doesn't hurt your head, and super simple. So I'm gonna show you how to do that right now. You're going to need an inch-sized ribbon or larger and it should be really soft and you're not gonna cut it off the spool. You're just going to cut it at an angle at the end.

Now, it's time to thread your needle. You're going to take a corresponding thread to match your ribbon, and I like to use about 2 yards of thread, and I like to double it over. Tie a sturdy knot and trim off the extra end. Here's the hardest part, you're going to take the needle and

weave it and out of the thread about 2 to 3 millimeters from the edge, and you're just gonna go back and forth. It doesn't have to be perfect because when it's uneven, it makes it a little bit more realistic and a little bit more unique. I like to keep it

all in the spool so that I can decide on what sizes I want as I'm creating them. I like to make about 2 small ones and 2 big ones or you can do like a couple of medium-sized ones and just make it a ray of different sizes and shapes so that it's really unique and it kind of forms to your head. You can start cinching now to get an idea

of what it'll look like. You just hold on to the thread and just start pushing the ribbon to the end of the knot. Just continue doing this until you fulfill the size that your want. Once it's done, snip the ends and create the flower that you want and then you're going to kind of sew the bottom parts together so it holds in shape

before you put it onto your headband. Just tie a knot and snip it, and now you're ready to do the rest. All right. Time to make a couple more. I think this makes a great gift because it's probably like $3 a piece. It's unique. It's simple and it's just an easy last minute thing to do.

All right. Let's put this thing together. This is what I'm going for, something where the larger ribbons are in the middle and the smaller ones at the end, so just kind of closes off the headband. So the headband that I'm using is the Goody headband. You can get this at Walmart and Target. It's a get-2 pack for about a $1.50 each piece. Re-thread your needle. I'd like to say about 2 yards and double it up so you have a total of a 1

yard piece of thread. Lay out the ribbon pieces so you'll know what it'll look like. Again, I look to do it larger in the middle and smaller at the end, but just kind of play with it. You can put it on your head to get an idea.

All right. Let's put this together. So you're gonna take your thread and you're gonna sew it through the headband first. Then, you're gonna take your needle and pull it through the flower. You're gonna start from the underside where all that thread is and then you're gonna go right through the top. You don't want to touch any of the ribbon part that's on the top. You only kinda wanna stick around that area where you have the thread that cinched up the flower in the beginning. So, you're gonna go from top to bottom, and you're gonna sew right up the edge of the bottom part of the flower, go through it,

through the headband and back and forth so that when you're looking on the top part of it---- Aerial view---- You won't be able to see any of that thread. You'll just see a big mass on the bottom. That's fine. If you're particular, then just use 1 continued piece of thread and do an X on the bottom just so that it's consistent or you can just do each flower at a time, practice, or whatever you like. Finish it off by tying a sturdy knot on the underside of the headband. Make sure you do it quite a few times because you don't want it to unravel

There you have it. The Carrie Underwood headband thing in your bobber. It probably should cost you about $3, no more than that. It looks really cute when you have like poufy, curly hair or kind of like textured hair, and it's very comfortable. I think it's a great like holiday hairstyle, New Year's, maybe some blue, white, silver. You can get like different colors, things like that. So, hope you guys had fun.

Hope it's easy to do, and if you do it, send some pictures. I'd love to see it. Thanks again for joining here at pursebuzz.com. Bye.
