Hey there. Welcome to Pursebuzz.com Holiday Edition. So, every year, I always do a video on some kind of artsy craftsy holiday project which is really simple to do---- kind of like a shortcut type of thing. So this year, I'm gonna show you how to decorate your house in probably like 30 seconds. So, you do need some particular products that I'm sure you'll have it laying around or something that you're going to buy. So, the first thing is you need to be in your pajamas.
These are my pajamas. My mom made this for me a couple of years ago and it's like this nice fleece material. It's like wearing a blanket. Who need this Slanky, right? Or is it a slinky, slinket? Anyway, that's not an important part of this video. Okay, so, I'm gonna show you today how to decorate your house. So maybe you don't have a lot of room in your house, but you want to have decorations like you don't wanna save it for the next year and kinda like to change things up a little bit. So I'm gonna show you a real quick and easy way to decorate your house, probably like 10 minutes. Maybe guests are coming over
and you're like, "I don't have anything." So, I'm gonna show you how to decorate in 10 minutes, maybe even quicker. So, here's what I'm gonna show you how to do. It's not the most creative idea, but it does change your bathroom or your hallway or your living room or wherever into a little bit more of a festive look. So this right here is one of the ones that I did and all it is, is a picture frame that I have hanging up, wrapping paper. It's like messily, messy, messily
just kinda half, you know, done and it doesn't matter because the front part looks good, and then you hang it up and you've got like a little present. Or if you have something like bigger thing, I have this really pretty---- It's so heavy. Here we go. I have this as a present too and I didn't have any ribbons or anything. So what I did was I took the wrapping paper, folded inside out, made a little ribbon, took some old ornaments and hung it up and then I just hang the stuff on my wall.
And I have this huge present on my wall. So, it doesn't have any clutter on the ground. It's like your house looks like, you know, real festive and real decorative and just really nice. So I'm gonna show you how to do that right now. So what you will need is a picture frame. So, it doesn't matter what size or whatever, just a picture frame. So this is one that I have in my hallway. You're going to need wrapping paper and I recommend going to Target because Target, in their $1 aisle, has really nice
foil wrapping paper, and I don't know what the square footage is, but it's a lot of wrapping paper. It's half the size of a typical one, but you do get a lot more. So, you gotta get creative with the bigger pictures or you could just double it up. And you may need a stocking or a ribbon or something like that. So I'm just gonna use my stocking here from last year. It's kinda old. I think this was like probably 2 bucks or something like at Rite-Aid or you can go to the Dollar Tree or wherever. So, I mean, you can really just spend like $2 and have a whole bunch of presents all over the house. And of course, you need your hats.
I've got my little bejeweled, sequined hat which is really in this year. This stuff I think it's for a little kid or something, but it has sequins and so I had to have it. So, you're gonna lay your wrapping paper right across just like this, and part of the way of cheating is, you're gonna take the ends right where it curls and you're just gonna have it hang right over, and you can even bring it down just a touch so you could do masking tape underneath, but there is no need to really get creative unless you have time, or you know, kind of imagine that it's like regular box and you have to wrap it up.
And you do the same thing. You're gonna cut it right here and you're gonna lay another one right on top. At the bottom right here, if you have time, you can make it really nice to look like an actual present. But if you don't, you could just let it kind of fold over. You're gonna fold it only on the 2 sides, so you're gonna trim it. Give it a little rim at the ends, and you're gonna flip your paper over, and you're gonna flip your picture over
right on top. Remember to leave enough down here so that it kind of wraps over. You're gonna fold it just like that, and you're gonna tape it on both sides. I like to use a masking tape because it's easier and it comes off a lot quicker and it's pretty safe for your photo. Alright. So, you're gonna take it, clip it down. Make sure it's snug.
You're gonna do the same thing with the other side. Pull it tight and you're gonna tape it, see it's not even even, but that doesn't matter. You gotta
hurry up because your guests are coming over, and you don't have anything planned. Then, you're gonna take a piece and wrap it, kinda roll it. Take it. Just stick it down here at the bottom and then just fold it upward just like that. And you're gonna do the same thing on the other side.
Since I'm using short wrapping paper, I have a little bit of a piece right here. You can be real creative and you can make sure it's like smacked up in the middle and put like a ribbon on top. And since this is kinda hanging up high above everything, you can't really tell, so I'm not too worried about it. Next, put on your decorations.
I'm gonna put my little stocking right in the middle like that. Again, you could put like a bow. You could put whatever you want. Don't forget to check out my Bow Special that I did last year where you make this really nice fluffy bow. So, depending on how you want your sock, I'm just gonna use masking tape because it works great on felt. You can actually like cut your own felt stockings if you want because those are really inexpensive, too. They're like 3 cents a square or something. So, however you want, just get creative.
Then, angle it how you want. Press it down firmly and that's it, quick and simple way to have a nice picture/holiday look. You can have different sizes, get creative. Have some fun. Put it above your fireplace or wherever you want. Thank you so much for joining me here at pursebuzz.com and have a happy holiday. Bye.
