-Hey there, welcome to pursebuzz.com. Today, I'm going to be doing a product review and it really isn't great. It's Coastal Scents 88 Palette, and
this is the Warm Palette which is exclusive to coastalscents.com, and it comes in a little case like this. This is $24.95 and it comes with 88 colors: mattes, shimmers, and pearls, all different textures and colors. You can see this here. It has the mirror top, which is a nice mirror. The only thing I don't like are these little sponge-tip applicators. You have to be very careful when you remove it and when you put it back in 'cause sometimes, it doesn't wanna go back. Anyway, onto the fun colors. There are 88 colors. It's from the high-light colors and there're browns, and there are plums, and some khaki
colors, and this really pretty, where is it? It's this pearl color right here with a little bit of gold. So, I'm just gonna do some swatches for you to check it out, and I'm gonna be using Poxy Primer. This is the old one. I'm not gonna be using the new one, and I'm just gonna put this all over my arms so that you could see the colors and everything. And we're just gonna, just kinda go all over the place, and I'm gonna be using some Q-tips right here. And I wanna show you this cute little box that I have, and it's for the Kleenex---- or Q-tips.
It's called a vanity Q-tip box. So once you're done, you just kind of close it up and it's made out of paper, but, kinda cute. All right. Onto with the shadows. So, all different colors; there's some high-light colors, there's like a white color. It's just plain matte. There's an ecru color, which more is like a skin tone color. So you can't even really see these 'cause they're just really close to my skin tone. So I'm gonna move down the bottom here to the corner, and you can see this is a smoky black color with really soft
shimmers. They're very nice. And then the one right next to it is the coal in where it's kind of like black with a little bit of gold to it. So it's much warmer than your typical black because this looks a little more cooler than this one right here. And I'm gonna show you a brown one. So they're all really pigmented. It's actually a little hard to get off because of the pigmentation. Have to scrub a little bit there. So that's the
brown. And all these are brown colors or smoky colors. They're bridal colors, you know, things that are a little bit of a peachy color. Let me show you that one. If you're familiar with the 88 Palettes, it's very similar, just different colors. Here's this one right there. It's a little taupey color, it's really close to MAC Amber Lights; not exactly. It's a little bit more orange but it's very similar, except that it's not as frosty. And, let's see.
The one right next to it, it's a really pretty cold color. So these are very soft, so they do flake a little bit. You can see that. See all the colors right there. And let me show you the really pretty plum color right here. It's more like a reddish plum, makes that really pretty for colored eyes. So these---- this one palette right here is all different colors for all
different colored eyes, all different colored skin tone. It really does have mattes and shimmers and of all sorts. Let me see this one right here. This is great for like an eyeliner or a crease color. And it has no smell to it. And this is another really pretty color right here. It's like a copper/bronze color. You could see that. It's all over my arm. We're running out of room, right? And let's see what other colors are on here. This one right here is really pretty.
And then there's one that's very similar to satin taupe, which every time I was playing with this and I was trying to swatch it, there's another one right there, it's very soft. So if you like browns and you want a lotta different kinds of browns, I'd recommend this. It's very pigmented and it will last a long time. Like I said, I had a little trouble taking it off. Where is sand/taupe color? Here it is. Okay. So this one right here is similar to sand/taupe. It's a little darker, just a little bit,
but still very pretty, very smoky color. And then if you go to pursebuzz.com, you can see the swatches there. And I'll just do a couple more. So it doesn't matter which color I choose in here. They all are pigmented. They've color to it, a lot of texture. It's either really frosty or matte. There isn't any of those like special dual chromes, except for this one right here. And this one is very similar to MAC's Dreammaker. Everything else, I can't really think of
what it's a dupe of off the top of my head. But this one is similar. It's not as frosty, but you could see how it kinda has that little lemon to it a little bit where it's a kind of pearl, kind of yellowish, really pretty for like an inner corner color. A lot of these mattes, high-light colors are very similar. You can see it right here. So they're very, very similar. They're kinda white, kinda peachy, kinda cream. And most of them, to me, look
very matte. There're a couple of them that are a little frosty, but, it's not as frosty as some other high-light colors are. It looks like---- See this one right here? It looks frosty but it's not frosty. It's more of a satin color, which comes off a little powdery. So, some of the lighter colored ones right here I find a little powdery for me. But if
you really like the browns, the rich browns, the purples, even these like khaki greens right here, I recommend this. Recommend this for like an everyday palette. If you love your 88 Palette and you're looking for something a little bit more everyday, maybe for the office, or just kinda merge in with the rest of your colors, I highly recommend it. Again, it doesn't smell. It is a little difficult to remove. You just gotta get a really good makeup remover and you should be good to go. So, you can get this at coastalscents.com.
