Hey there. Welcome to pursebuzz.com. Today, I'm going to be talking about makeup palettes so, lately, there's a lot of companies that have been coming out with a whole bunch of makeup palettes that fit perfect for the MAC 26 millimeter or the Coastal Scents hot pods or even the Stars Makeup Have Eyeshadow, little, the pots itself better. The exact same size as the MAC one, so I'm gonna through and talk about all the palettes that I've collected over the years and so that you guys can see the shape, size, color, and all that,

and then at the end I'll have a link to the different companies that carry it and then from there you can decide to the price and all that stuff of where you wanna purchase it. Alright. So the first one is this one right here. This one right here is from coastalscents.com and it's a 15-well palette and this is actually a plastic with no mirror and this is just foam so what-- this one right here, you have to purchase a magnet to have your shadows stick inside of it.

So, for example, this one right here, it doesn't have a magnet so we put this in here, it'll fall right out. This one right here, you could purchase and then buy your own magnet. They sell the magnets, too, and then you can just stick it in. This one right here sucks for me because when you get-- you travel, you bring this around, the shadows get on here and it kinda-- it stains this and then it's hard to take off and then you kinda get a little messy looking palette. But the flip side is that this is a 15 palette and it's much smaller than the MAC 15.

See that right there. The sizes. This is laid out a little bit differently. This next one right here is the same exact size with this one. It's a little bit different as far as the style goes. This one right here has a little bit of a slant. This one is flat. Not a big deal, just a little bit of aesthetics. As far as the plastic quality goes, it's both the same. It's very similar to the MAC palette as far as the plastic goes.

That's really good. This one right here, you can buy it with or without the palette and this one right here has-- you could buy this with or without the pan, depending. And this is magnetized so this one right here doesn't have a magnet and you could still... And the magnet on this is amazing. It's super, super powerful so what I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna lift them up like this. I was playing with this for a while.

And if you could see how amazing this is and you're wondering what's with the empty palette. This is where you could actually press your pigments. There's quite a few videos that do this. I have one on my site. It's a little bit of old, probably I think one to two years old but it shows you how to do that. You just take a little bit of your pigment, a little bit of your alcohol and you just press it in here and then you'll have your own pressed pigment, so you can see how sturdy this is. Upside down. It's not going anywhere

so I really, really like the magnetic palette. And over here, this one is neoprene so it has a plastic-style coating so that when you do spill your shadow on there, you spill a little bit of product, you could just wipe it down no problem and it keeps it very clean. And so this one right here, you could just add, so you've got this from Coastal Scents, you have your hot pot, or even your MAC one, just stick it in and it's good to go. No need for a magnet.

And then this one right here is just smaller than the MAC one but it only holds 12 and then comparing to that one, that's the same size. This one holds 12 while this one holds 15 so just depending if you like the magnet or not. Another option that you could have when you're traveling is the four-well palette and this one right here is a little bit difficult to remove. Let me try to do that real quick here. This one's also magnetic.

There's a little bit of divot right here where you can just kind of grab it or use like a toothpick or a paper clip or something like that to remove it and this one has a mirror, and it comes with a little spanner here 'cause I know some people like to use this for touchups, like to really get the intense color on their lid before they start to blend. This is the only one that has the four with a mirror and a magnet. The other one, an alternative one, is very inexpensive and you can get this one at Stars Makeup Haven. You can even get this at Target if you're lucky.

I think it's a dollar, dollar-fifty. You can see that right here. This has a mirror. It's by Elf and it will fit your MAC shadows in here. The only thing is that if you de-pot it, you'll have to put a magnet on there because it's not magnetized. So that's the downfall with this one, and you can see the size comparing with it. This one doesn't have a logo or anything like that. The next one, these are like crazy shadow palettes on steroids. First one is a 28. Very, very similar to the first one that I showed you.

It has the bowl inside and so there's 28 of them in here but the thing is you have to put a magnet down in order for these to stay. If not, you can just glue it down if you don't care and this one right here, the plastic itself is very flimsy. I'm not too excited about the quality of this but, when you do this, you could pack it in bubble wrap. If you're traveling, you should do that anyway so it's not that big of a deal. It is just noticeably different as far as the quality goes compared to the smaller palette.

This next one right here I think is super amazing. This is one of my favorites and you can get this at Stars Makeup Haven and this one right here is a 20-magnetized one that is extremely strong magnets. So I'm gonna try to flip them off so you could see. I'm gonna do all of them. And the shadows that I have in here are from Stars Makeup Haven. If you look here, they also have swatches of them at my site. This green one fresh is really pretty.

So you can see, very, very sturdy. I'm shaking it and they are not falling out so that's very impressive. You have the option of purchasing it with or without the pans so if you have shadows, then you won't need the pans but if you want a pigment press, then you should but I think it's very-- I think it's like $2 more to get the pans. It's a good deal because I used to buy the Elf Shadow and break them just to get the pan and those were already a dollar and if they had a sale then it would be 50 cents so this one here is one of my favorites 'cause it holds 28.

You know, you can do MAC. You can do hot pots, you could do the shadows from Stars Makeup Haven. You can do Milani. I think NYX, too, the round ones. Those fit in here so this is a pretty universal palette. So I really like that. Very last one here is from MAC and you can get this at the MAC freestanding stores or you can call at MAC Pro and you can get it. This one holds 15 eyeshadows and this one right here is not magnetized. You have to get the magnet from your shadows.

Like this one right here, I got from Stars Makeup Haven and you just drop it in there and then also, this can be removed. This so you're not confined to just only having 15 eyeshadows in here. You can have it just with a nice palette and you could stick all sorts of colors in here and shapes, squares, whatever you need. I really like the MAC ones because they fit into that DVD holder and you could see it on the left side, you could see it fits nicely into those container store ones

so I really, really like the size of this one, too, and I really like the feel of it. It's very sturdy compared to others and so, overall, I think the magnetic one from Stars Makeup Heaven with the magnet. It's a good one. I really like the quality of this part right here. As far as this plastic goes, it's okay. It's not the best if you compare it to the MAC one but it still works. And then the very last one right here I have is this MAC tube. This is $3.50 and you could just put four shadows in it.

The difference between these and this one right here and the Elf is that it doesn't have a mirror and it doesn't have that old spot where you can put your sponge-tip applicator. Moving on to the blushes, there's only two palettes that I know of that I would say that I really like and the first one right here is, this where you can get this style at Stars Makeup Haven or you can get at Coastalscents.com. There are eight of them in here. You could purchase it with or without the pans, I believe, and so the pans, these, again,

pigments. I'm not really sure what else you would put in these. You just put the pigments, something loose. You press it and the thing is, this is an extremely, extremely strong magnet. You can do it again 'cause it's super fun. So they hold the pans really, really well. This one actually has the little extra magnet there. So this one right here has a really strong magnetic hold.

The thing about this one is you can't have it with the magnet like this so when you purchase something like this from MAC, what you have to do is you have to remove that magnet back here. You can use that with a little rubbing alcohol, it will break the glue down no problem and then this right here already has a magnet so you just stick it on there just like this. What happens if you keep the magnet in there is that there's going to be a little bit of a bump right there. You could see that the pen is a little bit elevated. Not that much of a big deal, but if you're kinda like, something's a little wrong,

just remove the magnet and you should be fine. And this one right here is maybe that neoprene products so it just cleans it really nicely. This one right here is made with the exact same product. If you have the 88 eyeshadow palettes or I think maybe the 120 as well, it kinda has that okay casing to it. If you want something a little more sturdy, then I recommend going to MAC and you can get this one right here. It's the same exact size. Either eyeshadows, need to be uniform, in case of something,

then you probably wanna go to the MAC store and get this one right here. This one is not magnetic so it has to sit in there with a magnet. It is easier to remove 'cause it has a little divot right there, and then this one here is plastic, too, so it wipes it right down. No mirror or anything. And this one right here has that type of little bit of a-- you can see that right there, little divot, too, so there's all sorts of different kinds of pans, palettes you can use interchangeably to get your perfect ideal casing,

just-- there are some ideas right here for you and hopefully that has given you guys an idea of what fits and what doesn't fit. Again, the eyeshadows that fit into all of these palettes are the CoastScents.com ones. The ones from Stars Makeup Haven, the Milani, the NYX, MAC, if I haven't said that one already, and so there's so many different kinds and all that fits in here. They will also usually fit in here if it's round and it looks like this size right here,

so you could just go nuts and have them interchangeably. If you know of another place that sells these palettes, let me know in the comments. I love to share it. I love to read it. I love to learn about it. Thanks again for joining me at pursebuzz.com. Buh-bye.
