-Hey there, welcome to pursebuzz.com. Today, I'm gonna show you how to do the "Waking Up In Vegas" Katy Perry look with a lot of glitter and a lot of black eye shadow. It's really fun, something you probably wouldn't wear everyday, but it's definitely fun. So, stick around and you'll see some tips and tricks on how to create this look. All right. To do this Katy Perry look, first thing I did was

apply a white eyeliner on my water line, and I kinda smeared it up just a little bit so it faded, and it's not too stark white. Then the next thing I'm going to do is apply Too Faced Shadow Insurance all over my lid. This will help my eye shadow adhere and help me blend. And the next thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take a silver eyeliner. So, you can get like a silver eyeliner, dark, or even a black eyeliner if you have it. But do use a very light hand when you use the black eyeliner.

And so what I'm gonna do is I'm going to trace where my crease is, and that's right below the brow bone, right where you can feel it, and you just draw right where it indents. And this is going to be our guideline to where our glitter is going to be. So, we're going to essentially apply the glitter right here. So I'm just gonna back and forth, and then I'll draw a little flick. Again, these are just guidelines.

And then what we're gonna do is we're just gonna blend this out just a little bit so we don't have a harsh line later on, and this is the Make Up For Ever 22L. You don't have to get this; just a gray or a silver will be perfect. Okay. Then the next thing I'm gonna do is I'm gonna take my Stila, you could see that right there, and this is the

newest product that they have from their summer line, and this is a Smudge Pot 24 Karat. So you could see the little gold flecks in there, in this part. You're gonna see that there, if you guys can read that. Okay. So what I'm gonna do is I'm going to apply that all over my lid, and what I'm gonna do is I'm just going to take my new Enkore makeup brush, the Oval 11, and I'm gonna use that to apply it. And this is going to be my eye shadow and

my base all at the same time. So, I'm just gonna kinda spackle that on. This doesn't have to be perfect for as long as it's inside of that little gray rainbow you created. And then you're gonna kinda drag it up very softly so like you just have a trace of that color. Then the next thing you're gonna do is you're gonna take a very light gray or

even something, maybe even a black, and mix it a little bit with a lighter color with your brush. I'm just gonna go right over that harsh line right there, and I'm gonna smooth it out, and drag it down right here, too. We're just gonna close off that color. Then the next thing you're gonna do is you're going to take a pencil brush or something that's flat, and you're going to create a little bit of a cat eye. So, I'm just gonna take an angle brush like this and black eye shadow. So I'm going to be using

my NYX Black Eyeshadow, and I'm gonna carefully draw a line just outward like that, and I'm gonna blend it in, and then I'm gonna go right up on over that black line and fade that out. And then I'm gonna soften this up just a little bit right here.

The reason why I have that light gray right there is so that there's an easy transition to my brow bone color, and you can see it already where we're gonna put the glitter, and it's a very, very simple look to do. Okay. The next thing I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna apply a little bit of brow bone color. So, I'm gonna be using my NYX Nude. It's all in one palette so I'm just gonna use it. And what you wanna do is pick a very soft and neutral color without any shine. Now for the fun part is the glitter. So how I'm going to

keep the glitter on my lid is I'm going to take my mascara. So this is the 2000 Calorie Extreme. Just take this and you're going to take either a synthetic eye shadow brush or even like a Q-tip, something like this. And what I'm gonna do is I'm going to take a little bit of the mascara, and I'm gonna use that as the glue for my glitter. All right. So, I'm going to apply that right here in the middle

just like that, kinda lightly tap it on. Then, I'm gonna take that exact same brush and I'm gonna dip it in to my glitter. You can use any silver glitter or any glitter that you like. Kinda have to do this really quickly so that the glitter can get on that lid. And the more mascara you have on there, the more glitter. So you're gonna pat that on. Any fall out can be removed with a little bit of tape. Just depending on how your lid is, if you open your eyes, you may see a lot of glitter. You may or may not, just depending; so we do have

to alter these looks to fit our own individual eye shapes. So we're almost done. We can add a little bit more glitter if you want or if you're good to go, perfect. See if you have any fall out like this. Glitter likes to fall. Again, just put a little bit of tape, and it should pick it right up. Or, you can just take a brush and that'll pick it up as well. Apply a little bit of a gray eye shadow right here. I kind of dabbed that 24 Karat Stila liner down here earlier. Gonna take that gray that I had earlier and apply it,

and I'm gonna smudge it out, and then right here you could fix it, too. You could make it a little bit more pointy out right here if you want. Just drag your eye shadow out. All right. So the next step is to apply my mascara, and you can refill in your waterline if you want to or you could just leave it. This is a Vegas look. You can go as chunky and as clumpy as you want. You can even put some false lashes up there. And that's it. Thanks again for joining me here at pursebuzz.com.
