-Okay this is a tutorial on the lipstick called Glamour Girl. It was very popular in the '50s. What they would do is they would over draw the top lip line to make it look fuller and more seductive and the bottom line would be normal. I'm gonna use a pink lip liner and a light, sheer pink lipstick to example this. Okay, so you're first step is to always, always use a ChapStick
on your lips to make them softer and fuller and pretty much any brand will do as long as it's not tinted. And you just wanna put on very lightly, okay? If you are going to blot it which I suggest you do when we're done. You're gonna take a piece of tissue and
actually pull it apart so that it's not 2-ply because if it's 1-ply, it will go on even like you blot even, more even. Okay, so first step is to do the bottom line. I'm gonna start by doing this liner here. Then I do the center and then I'm gonna do the sides.
And then I'm gonna do the other side. Okay? And now, for the top lip, we're going to go over it just a little bit. We're gonna go, extend it. So I'm gonna start right here
and I'm drawing just outside my normal line. We're gonna keep that a little V here and then extend. Okay? Now, I'm gonna take a little brush and I'm gonna blend
in from the sides. I'm gonna take the little bit of pink and blend it in towards the middle of my mouth.
Now what this does is if your lipstick happens to come off, the lip liner is gonna stay, so you don't want that one liner gross look. You wanna get it blended in a little bit so that it's not so strange looking. Okay, now I'm using a pink sheer lipstick and it's so sheer pink. I'll start, I'm gonna evenly spread
a red and then I'm going to take a tissue, 1-ply, and use the corner and I'm gonna just blot and then I'm going to reapply and what this does is it takes away the oil but leaves the pigment, so if you put a couple of layers on, your lipstick is gonna last longer.
You can do it up 3 times, that's good. Okay? And that's called the Glamour Girl.
