-Hi there. Thanks for joining me here today at Pursebuzz N' More. I'm going to just do one of my, I guess, everyday hairstyles and I'm just going to put on cameras so that you can see one of the---- I guess the many styles and looks that you can do. It's been great for summertime when it's really hot and you're just sweating, you want something with your hair pulled back. Okay, so first thing I always do is I put on my leave-in conditioner

usually when my hair is wet, and I might just go over it again when it's dry just to have that extra protection. So I do that. I run it all over my hair. I'm gonna take a rat tail comb and divide it. So here's the trick. What I'm gonna do is I'm going to have it roll back here

and I'm going to cover it with some hair so that you can have a pouf that will stay like this, so I like to just create this is---- split my hair down the middle like this, not perfect. It doesn't have to be. Just back here is what I wanna concentrate on and right here the back of my head, I'm gonna take a small chunk like this just a rectangular

piece and I'm going to curl it. Now I like to curl it with my big one and 1/3 curling iron, like that, and I just curl it to give it some texture and I'm gonna tease it to give it some fluff and

I'm gonna give it just---- a second to cool down and take that rat tail comb and just gonna tease it, not too much where it's super tangly just something where it's---- gives that actual little fluff and once you've curled and tease, turn this into a nice big, I guess, medium-sized roll, like that.

Kinda got to play with it a little bit sometimes. It does exactly what you want and sometimes it doesn't. I got my bobby pins, just gonna pin it. The tighter the roll is, the smaller the pouf maybe but you may want a smaller pouf to start out with and then you get used to it and see how your hair reacts throughout the day.

So you got that pouf going. Now, I'm gonna take this front portion here and I'm going to comb right over it. Well, that's what I'm going to do but sometimes I have to work in a way up with the hair, can get it to----

so you just pull it back, cover it up, have a couple of bobby pins, not too many. You don't want your hairstyle---- your bobby pins to be the focal point of your hairstyle. What I like to do is that I just like to put an extra on the back, so if you have some cute clips, some cute bobby pins, that's a good time to use those. So the next thing is to divide the front part with my rat tail comb,

so take your rat tail comb and divide it on whichever side that you like and bring my hair over to the side, on a side ponytail but before I do that,

I'm going to curl it just a little bit just to give it some wave and some texture, just a whole bunch of big waves. So I'm working on getting---- just so my hair isn't just so straight. The curlling iron that I'm

using right now is the Helen of Troy, get them at Sally's Beauty Supply and I think a good curling iron really does make a difference in keeping your curl in. I've been getting some emails on asking on how do I keep my curls. Definitely, I think it's a combination of a good curling iron and a good---- what do you call it, hairspray. And you can pick up all this at a Sally's Beauty Supply.

Nothing too fancy, just a little bit of a wave and I'm gonna grab and wear it tight. I'm just gonna use a clear rubber band. I have a Hello Kitty clip

and I may like to finish off the look with some big headband that would be later. I pushed down all the flyaways and make sure my hair stays clipped throughout the day. I don't wanna flattened the pouf there, so---- just sometimes you know when you have a breakage or new growth and you want those to stay put,

use the manipulator and manipulate it, get it down. I think a little headband right here and that will definitely emphasize your pouf but that's pretty much it. Thanks again for joining me here today at Pursebuzz N' More. If you have any---- I guess, hairstyle ideas that you want me to attempt, let me know, info@pursebuzz.com
