Pursebuzz.com. I'm super excited today 'cause NYX and pursebuzz has put together a cute little package called Doll Eyes. For the entire month of August, I'm gonna be using a group of NYX products to create multiple different looks. The very first look is this one right here. It's very simple yet dramatic smoky-eyed look and it's very simple, just a couple products.

Under $40, you can create all sorts of looks so let's get started with our first look of August. The very first thing is an eyeshadow base. NYX right now currently doesn't have an eyeshadow base, particular, you know, specific for not creasing and all that stuff so I'm gonna be using my typical MAC Paint in Stilife. Just gonna put that on, and take a concealer brush. I'm gonna smooth it out with it. Then dab a little bit all over,

and take that concealer brush and just smooth it all out. In the summertime, you don't really have to use that much paint 'cause it's so hot, it just melts anyway so a little bit goes a long way in that case. Just smooth it out, gonna press it down with my fingers at the ends, then the next thing is eyeliner and I have just the NYX Black Eyeliner.

Like that. And I'm going to line the top part of my eye, so just gonna line a straight line, all the way to the inside, and back out. Get a good base for eyeliner and we'll go over this later again to darken it. Then I'm going to take the Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk. It's just a white creamy eyeshadow

and I'm gonna put it all over my lid. Just a little bit up here for a highlighter. Then I'm going to take that same concealer brush and spread it out. I'm gonna press it, smear it out. Then the next thing is I'm going to take my eyeshadow.

This is called Pearl White and it's a loose shadow, it's like a pigment. I can then draw like this and I'm going to take a flat concealer brush, this, and just dab it all over my lid. It's a shimmery white. And when you're using white, you wanna make sure your brush is clean so it doesn't mix with other colors but I've dabbed all over.

You're gonna take a fluffy brush. You can get one from NYX. You can get one from Sally's, one from MAC. This is a MAC 227. I'm just gonna bring it up here. I'm gonna take the Black Sparkle from NYX, like this. You can see the little black sparkles, and I'm going to apply it right here and into the crease, and this is an NYX brush, just like that.

Again, I will have a link on my site for it. So what you're gonna do, make sure it's even with the other eye, is just gonna kinda have it end right here. Now, if you tend to get shadow falling right here, you can put a tissue up like this or some powder. I'm just gonna do it this way.

And you can flick your brush, too, beforehand so that you can avoid any shadow fallout. Now that we have some shadow there going, we can kinda press it in. You're just gonna keep going back and forth like this and blend it. I'm getting uneven. From there. It's time to blend.

So you can either wipe this down really, really good or you can just taken another fluffy brush and just blend it, so you're just gonna wiggle it around a little bit up here. Okay. So once you've done that, you're gonna go back over it again with your black shadow and you've gotta be careful not to touch that part that you've blended to stay inside the darker area.

I'm gonna pat that in so you can keep the sparkles of the shadow. Okay. So now for the fun part. You're gonna start blending in with the highlighting color and you're gonna use that same color that you had earlier,

the Pearl White. You're gonna add that to your brow bone. And go in here a little bit and just dab a little bit right here and add a little down here and you're gonna blend it all together.

So take that same black NYX eyeliner and line your eye. You're gonna line all the way to the inner corner of your eye. Okay. So, then after this, I'm going to go right over it with that Black Sparkle to intensify it.

Just take a flat brush and you can wet it, get real close to that lash line. That sparkle right here. Line brush or you wanna do this one first and then do your white.

So let me do that. Same thing. Let it-- take your Black Sparkle. Right here so then you get a good amount on to your brush. And you're gonna dab it.

Just like that, and then you're gonna fix it up just a little bit. You're gonna blend that two together.

And some Doll Eye mascara, what I'm gonna use is the Doll Eye Mascara in Volume, just put it on how you normally do. With that curve. Concentrate on the base and bring it up to the ends, so I'm just gonna take my Juicy Tube, lip gloss, anything like that, put a little bit on your hand.

Gonna keep mine as subtle as possible. Take a little bit of that Pearl Sparkle, the white shimmer, and just add just a little bit. And if you have a lip liner, you can add that, too. I like using a brush so let me do that. Okay. So I'm gonna take my brush.

Kinda shape it around. And that's pretty much it for my first Doll Eye look using my NYX kit of the month. If you have any questions, send me an e-mail to info@pursebuzz. Other than that, check out pursebuzz.com
