Hey there, welcome to pursebuzz.com. Today, I'm gonna talk about curling irons. I get a lot of questions as far as what kind of curling iron should I get and I think there's 3 curling irons that everybody needs to own especially if you're into curling your hair or, you know, if you're into doing all that fancy stuff with your hair. There's 3 different kinds that everyone should own, maybe start with one and then, you know, see how you feel. So I plugged two of mine in so that I can show you. One of my favorites
that I have here is the Hot Tools 3/4-inch curling iron. And this one is for formal curls. This is for tighter smaller curls. They come out like this, see it. And they come out like that, like ribbon curls. So this is something for proms, something formal, maybe like if you wanna do really curly pigtails or, you know, really curly all-over hair. And then the other favorite that I have is the
Helen of Troy 1-1/4 of an inch. I love this thing. It's so gross. It's full of hair spray and all that stuff, but I've had it forever and it's one of my favorites. And these are pretty much the 2 curling irons that you should definitely look into getting depending on how long your hair is. I have this curling iron when my hair was really short and I just flipped it out. And so this one here gives you big curls and so you can see the difference between a 3/4
and a 1-1/4. So it's pretty much if you want tight curls, you want loose curls, those are the 2 curling irons I recommend. I know there's a whole bunch; there's like inch, 1-1/2 and 1 and, and all that stuff. So depending on the size of the curl that you want, just kind of imagine your hair wrapped around it and that's the size that will come out. So that's just kind of a little, a little IS 411 on curling irons. And another product,
I think, everybody should have if you're into curling your hair are plastic or plastic rollers. You can get them at the 99 Cents store. You can get them at Sally's. You can buy like Target; you know, any place that sells hair stuff usually has these plastic ones right here. They come in different sizes. This is the large one and this is the medium one. So what I like to do is I like to curl my hair and then I put these to hold them. And if you are somebody who has like the hardest
time keeping your curls in, I'd totally recommend putting these in your hair. There's, you know, the typical curl and then you just put it in. But today, I'm gonna show you a really cool way to curl your hair. It's something a little different, not like the kind of curls, more of like a natural kind of a wavy type of look. So, I'm gonna take that 1-1/4. Of course, put your protective spray and all that stuff in, and let's start curling. Here we go. So you're gonna do this all over your hair. You're just gonna take it
and then start from the middle and you're gonna pull it down, open the clamp, pull it all the way up and you're gonna get that type of curl right there. So what you're gonna do is I had to rotate between this one and my larger one. And I take it, kind of get a little thinking going and you've gotta---- the way it's curled, you're gonna take it and you're going to wrap it around
your roller. And this is gonna give you a totally different type of curl than with just the regular curling iron. So I'm gonna do a tight one and then I'm gonna do a loose one. You know, it doesn't really matter how you curl it. The different types of techniques you use, the cooler your hair will look because it will just have different textures to it. So that's a good, totally different curl [unk]. And I'm gonna use my jumbo one. I'm gonna take it
and I'm gonna take the whole hair and I'm gonna wrap it around here, just like that. And you've gotta be really careful with the ends and make sure they're held back or it won't look right. And just do that with your entire hair. You can rotate between rollers to different sizes. Helen of Troy and Hot Tools, I believe, are the same company. So if you find one, it'll be just as good as the other.
So that's the type of curl this one can do. It's a little one. So if you're debating, I guess it would pretty much depend on how---- if you're casual with your hair or if you're more, I guess, into those tight, tight curls. So what I just did right now is I used a small curling iron and I used a big plastic roller. Totally different textures. So that's what gives you those options so that you don't have to buy every single size curling iron that's out
There 'cause I've tried a whole bunch of them, but I always just come back to these 2 styles and flat iron, which doesn't have a name brand. It's Pro Select, I don't know. And then my Enzo Milano. So those are the four that I have. The Enzo Milano is more like a luxury one, I guess, you could say. It's a little more pricey, but I love it. Luckily, I got it at Costco so---- So that's what you gotta do is just kind of roll it around.
You don't want to roll it from the ends up. This is a different technique when you take it and you roll it. What I'm doing is I'm taking the hair and I'm wrapping it around the plastic. Alright, so just do the rest of your hair.
And when you're done, you're just gonna start taking them out and I like to move it around, just like that.
Just move the plastic roller. Sometimes it gets a little tangled, so you've gotta work with it. And they're gonna look kind of weird and you're just gonna get your finger, you just kind of wrap it, just like that. And these are gonna give you those really loose wavy hairstyles; you can see
that. You don't have to use, you know, 2 different curling irons, but it's best to use different size plastic rollers. Keep it in for about 10 to 15 minutes and you wanna dab your makeup on or all that and your hair is nice and cool. Make sure it's not hot. If it's hot when you touch it, it's gonna straighten out. And you're just gonna run your fingers through. And that's it, a really, really
simple and easy way to have a nice, bouncy wavy hair. Thanks again for joining me here at pursebuzz.com. Bye bye.
