Hey there! Alyssa here for pursebuzz.com. This is a very special edition and what I'm going to do is I'm going to show you a really quick way to turn your look from summer to fall in just 10 minutes. So the first thing is I'm going to do my hair. So I'm just going to take my hair and I want to pull it to the side ponytail. Then instead of just leaving it that way, I'm going to turn it into a quick braid, that's what I'm going to do, just pull it to the side with a black rubber band, then I'm going to split it.

Then I'm just going to braid 2 braids, 2 separate ones, so we're going to do that really quickly here and I'm going to take 2 clear rubber bands and I'm going to tie the ends together and when I say rubber bands, I don't mean the typical ones that you use for all your, I don't know, potato chips. This is specially made for your hair. I'm just going to tie the ends. I love these clear rubber bands because they really hold your hair and they're clear so you can't even see it

and if you lose it, no big deal, and you don't pull your hair. It is same thing with the other piece of hair, I'm going to have 2 braids. Okay, I'm just going to tie that up. What we're going to do is we're going to twist it and create a side bun. Alright, so we're going to take these 2 braids

and you're going to twist them together. This is going to give you a bigger bun and then you're going to wrap it on the side of your head just like that and then you're going to take a rubber band and you're going to tie the whole thing together. And that should hold it down, but you're going to have a kind of a mushroom look. So what you're going to do is you're going to take your bobby pins, I'm going to pin it. So you're going to take this wild and crazy one right here, take it until it's stuck on your head,

push it down, you're going to take it, the outside right here, and then tuck it right underneath. Four of them should just be perfect. I have here a little fabulous, messy braided bun for fall. Now for your eyes, what I like to do when I'm in a rush is just use a little concealer. My favorite concealer is the MAC Select Cover-Up and I'm going to use that on my eyelids. It's going to help my eyeshadow adhere. So we're going to work double time here. So just pat it on both eyes. So

you can use your foundation or any other concealer or your actual eyeshadow base depending on the products that you have and just pat that in just like that. Now we're going to take an eyeshadow and there's two eyeshadows that I really like and I like a nude-type of shimmer and a little bit of a smokey taupe.

So if you're going for a lower end, I'd like to use my NYX Aloha and my NYX Root Beer. Now if you're more of a higher end kind of person, I'd like to use MAC Satin Taupe and that's right here. And then I also like to use Make Up For Ever's number 126. You could see that right here. And these are just really perfect. You just need colors and you're good to go. So I'm going to use my NYX right here it's just Aloha

and I'm going to take my MAC 224 brush perfect for like everything. I'm going to put that allover my lid all the way to the brow bone and you can do all these in just a few minutes. Then I'm going to take my NYX Root Beer which is slightly darker. It's going to define my eyes and just kind of make it smokey enough but not too dramatic. I'm going to take it and I'm going to get right into that brow bone right there and you can see it just kind of shaping and defining your eye. It

doesn't have to be perfect because you're going for a smokey look just like that. Flick your brush a little bit so that all the powder comes off and then you're just going to go back in, make sure you can go blend it. You're going to take a little bit more of that light highlighting color, just go right to that brow bone. And the great thing about this Root Beer is that it's a really great eyebrow color too so you can always put that on your eyebrows. If you have a great

angle brush, you could do that really quick. So it just defines it really quickly. You can do the same thing with the other eye. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to use my higher end product. Here we go. We're going to use my Make Up For Ever number 126, same brush; brush, brush allover.

Then I'm going to take my MAC Satin Taupe, an absolute must have, same brush, just go right there along the brow bone. These two colors are very similar, Root Beer and Satin Taupe. So it just really just defines your eye. And then eyeliner is optional and then of course your

mascara. So I like to use my MAC Plush Lash. It is very inexpensive so there is no other alternative for me. I really like this one. This is 11 dollars, a little bit more than the drugstore, a lot cheaper than a lot of other higher end mascaras, just like that. And we're almost done. So another thing that's really hot for 2008 are really bright intense lips or really deep wines

and burgundy. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to use my concealer and this is going to help shape my lips. It's going to conceal it and then I'm going to draw them in so here we go. Take a little sponge right at the edge of your lips. I'm going to just pat that in, okay. Then I'm going to take a lip liner and this is my Clinique pomegranate

and I'm going to define them. I'm just going to start at the bottom. Now sometimes if you're kind of clumsy, you can just hold it down, turn your head, and I like to fill in my lips with pencils that lasts longer, lipstick and lip gloss, just look at the color, just like that. And then now I'm going to put on my lipstick, a really great inexpensive

red lipstick is NYX Revamped. Sometimes red is a little bit hard to wear so I like to stick with inexpensive ones if I can. I'm just going to put this on and I like this because it has such a rich red to it. And if it's just too red for you or if you want to go for a multitonal 2008 look I'd like to use MAC because it's kind of a burgundy color and just put that

right on top. So it's the best of both worlds. It's not too deep burgundy but it's not too red. This makes everything pop. And the next thing I'm going to do is I'm going to take a little bit of my Stila All Over Shimmer just to give my cheeks just a little bit of a glow. So just take a little bit. You can use a brush, but again if you're in a rush, dub, dub, dub, dub, dub, dub, and this should just melt right into your foundation and then you'll top it off with some loose

powder. And then if you want a little bit of color on your cheeks, what you could do is just take a little bit of your lipstick and dab it on your finger, smile, just add just a little bit here. And what it does is it's going to mix in with your shimmer and it's going to be easy to blend into your face and that's just going to give it just a nice little natural kick. And then another trend for 2008 are plaid hat, ribbon off the tag there,

just put on your plaid hat, and you're good to go. There you go, 2008 fall trend on the go. Thanks again for joining me here at pursebuzz.com. Bye bye!
