Hey there! Welcome to pursebuzz.com. Today I'm doing a product review and it's for the Givenchy Phenomen'Eyes. It's right here and you can only get this at Sephora and it comes in a tube like this. It's a little bit wider and a little bit shorter than the typical mascara and what makes this so fabulous is the brush, see it right here. It's this little SNM dagger type of thing and

it's definitely not for everybody so let me talk about it. It comes in black and brown. Again it's only available at Sephora and it's 27 dollars. I went there a couple of times trying to find it, sold out every single time. This time there is about 5 of them left. They had to scoop up one. It comes with instructions but they're kind of not. They're really just pictures. So I'm just going to talk a little bit about it. The mascara itself---- it's here---- it's black. It's actually really, really nice intense black.

It's a very thick, almost a gel-like texture and it's actually wet. Sometimes you pull out a mascara and it's a little bit more on the dry side. This is definitely more on the wet side. So I'm just going to put it on, show you how I put it on, and we'll go from there. So this mascara one is a little bit tricky and you just kind of brush it in there, kind of wedge it in between your lashes to get the color on

and you can see immediately how dark and intense it is. So it's not very difficult. You do have to have to be careful not to poke your eye out with it. It's not hard. It's actually really soft so you don't have to worry about that and it's supposed to be able to get all those little lashes and give you some phenomenal eyelashes. So we're trying to get each and every single small strand

and you can see it curls really well. I'm just going to push this up. And this is just alone without any primer and you could see how really dramatic and black that is. It's gorgeous. I was reading online and it was saying that

makeup artists really love this but I guess my question is do they have to go and buy a whole bunch of wands or do they give this to their client because you're really not supposed to share mascara wands. There you go. I'm trying to get the bottom lashes here. So I'm just kind of doing a little stippling effect just to get them on there. I recommend this for something maybe at night or if you like a little bit more

of darker mascara. I'd call this a cross between MAC's Plush Lash and Zoom Lash because it curls like the Plush Lash but give you this thick, thick dermatic intense lashes like Zoom Lash. So you can see that? So it definitely does bring out my bottom lashes. I guess there's no real right way or wrong way to use this.

So that gives you really nice, fluttery lashes. Alright, now we're going to try the other side. We're going to put a little bit of primer on and check that out. I'm going to use my MAC Prep and Prime and I'm just going to prep and prime my lashes and I'm not going to let this dry completely. We're just going to let this dry just a touch to get a little tacky

and then we're going to try our fancy mascara. Alright, here we go. This is probably one of the few mascaras where I felt like I could use it on its own without a primer and I don't know if it's the formula or the brush itself.

And it grabs those small lashes beautifully. Now the application of that would seem very difficult. I think you just got to get used to it and find out what works for

you. So our recommendation is to grab a clean one and just go right over it one more time and you just clean up. So there it is with the primer. It looks so much clumpier with the primer and also it gets really messy because of the brush. You got to be really careful or you just have to have black eyeliner on that day or just sweep that off with a Qtip. So you can see it without the primer and with the primer. Just let me show you the wand up

close and you can see how the mascara is too. It's not dry at all. There you have it. You could see the difference between the primer and no primer. Definitely like it without the primer. Maybe I should have piled it on too much but I wanted to show you how thick and intense it gets. It's definitely great for a night out. I wore this. I wore it with my MAC prep and prime around 3 o'clock. I got a little bit of smudging going right here. I did not know. I thought I was feeling good,

feeling confident at this long false-looking lashes and not so much. So this definitely should come with some Qtips, tissue, something to wipe that smudge off. 27 dollars, it smudges, does thicken, it does curl, it's fun to use if you have lots of time. It's super fun if you get used to it. You can use this on daily basis. I really wish it came in a waterproof formula. Thanks again for joining me here at pursebuzz.com. Bye bye!
