Welcome to pusebuzz.com today I want to talk about one of my favorite eye shadow base products. And it's called the Nyx Jumbo eye shadow pencil. I love it, I keep it in a little cup like this and I like it because it's very vibrant and it really helps enhance the eye shadow that you use. The only thing is that I use a cream. So, if you pile it on it's definitely going to crease. So, what I like to do is I like to use my Too Faced eye shadow insurance.

Or I like to use Urban Decay potion primer, something that will really make sure that the oils will stay on my lid and away from my bases and my eye shadows. So, I'm just going to go smooth the colors here. And the first one is dark brown, and dark brown is literally just a dark cream brown. Coming quite a few colors over matte, somewhere shimmery, it's up to you. So, I'm just going to show you them and talk about ones that I really like. And just like that and kinda go over with eye shadow. Purple one is really great, something I really like. It's---- this

is at its full intensity. It's a nice rich purple. It's a little bit of a shimmer if you would. Cottage cheese is one that I like to use a lot and I teez it on my brow bone and all over the lid. And so what I'd like to do is I'd like to put on the lid and then gently rub it in, just so you get that sticky factor and the nice color, but you don't want to get that thick consistency. So, it's going to go out on your lid like that, just sheer it out.

And the next color here is slate. Slate is a very similar to matte shark skin, where it's kind of shimmery, it's a little bit frosty, and it's not quite black and it's not quite gray shark skin. So, they're slate. And what you can do is you can put some eye shadow on it. So, one of my favorite mix of shadows is iris's, that's a nice bright turquoise. So, what I like to do is take a brush

and you could just pat it on. This is a matte shadow, so you can see that there. So, you can see how I know my shadow has turned into a dual tone, but if I put it right on top of cottage cheese it's a really intense turquoise. You could see that there? Alright. The next color here is oyster, oyster's one of my favorites because it's

sweet dual tone pink, right there. Really nice and innocent type of color it's kind of purpleish blue pink effect. And then the next one here is black bean. Black bean is a matte color, it's a little bit glossy like that, but if you put your eye shadow on it and it's matte eye shadow definitely going to be a matte cream. Next one here is strawberry milk---- the names are just so cute. Strawberry milk

is pink, it's nice and frosty pink, it's got there. What I like to do again is I just kind of like to rub it in a little bit. And what's great about it is it really helps intensify your eye shadow. It really helps the eye shadow adhere to your lid. Again, you don't want to apply too much especially in this crease area, because creams tend to crease especially on oily eye lids. Just something to know like if you're using other cream shadows and stuff like that, you know, like it's creasing it's cream and

it likes to gather up together. So you always caution. This right here is orange, it's a nice orange, very true orange. What you can do is you can do a little bit of your eye shadow. So, what I have here is orange just going to go with the complementing color. And I'm just going to tap that on there. And you can see it right there. This really intensifies your eye shadow and it's super easy to put on too, just kind of draw it in into the shape you

want and just kind of brush it with your brush, just smooth it out and even it out. Blending is absolutely effortless. So, I can show you that right here. I have yellow right next to orange. You can see that hard line right there. So, what you could do is you could just take this and turn it right over it very slightly. blend it now, I just take a little brush, do a little quick zigzag and it's ready to go. So, you can even like

lay out the brick work for your eye shadow, you know. All the colors you want and then just put on your powder of shadow to steal it and you're good to go. Next color here is lavender. Lavender of course is a very light purple. It's almost white with a little hint of purple there. This next color here is lemon, lemon actually is green. It's kind of silly but it is one of the most beautiful colors. You can see that right there. It's like a nice

golden olive green. And what it can do is I can put an eye shadow on top and I'm going to put lime green on top. It's very fun here. See that? So, it just really intensifies that lime green, because eye shadow on it's on looks like this and then with a little bit of a base, you can see how it's intensified. It looks a little bit more creamy, you know, it looks a little bit more solid

green. Next color here is pacific. Pacific is another one of those really nice blues. It's nice and creamy and just really relaxing and tranquil you can see that there. Just a little of that shimmery, you can see that there.

Okay, the next color here is rust. Rust is a beautiful fog color, it's like a shiny metallic rust color. It's beautiful, if you like browns and you want to go into like a different color, but still want to stay in that family I definitely recommend rust.

Next color here is hot pink. Hot pink is definitely the first one that I tried out. Super pink red, it's not, you know, the hot pink 80's neon, but it is definitely pink. So you just put that with a little purple, a little blue, you're totally ready for your 80's party. Super fun. Alright, next one is cherry. Cherry of course is red. And this one right here is creamy

just go a little bit on your cheeks too. And these are available at cherryculture.com, they're available at nyxcosmetics.com, they're 3.50 3 dollars, depending on where you pick them up, very inexpensive. This one right here is called ice mocha. And it's definitely something I like to use almost on a daily basis because it's not too yellow, it's not too brown, it's not too black, it's just

the perfect under color for, like a nice smoky tope color. Love that one. This next one right here is French fries, I don't know why it's called French fries but it is. And this is like a bronze color, like your old school bronze crayons. So, that one is cool, it's just not something like where; oh my gosh, you just absolutely had to have it. This one is yogurt. Yogurt is probably one of the more popular ones because it's

very similar to skin tone and it's---- you can see that right there---- and it has small frost to it. So, we rub it into your skin then it is definitely one of those skin tone type of colors. This next one is a sky blue, it's called baby blue. You can see that right there. Draw on myself. This one looks like a very creamy blue, a little bit almost chalky looking. And if you rub it in it's

just going to fade right into your eye lid, you can see it right there it's not going to look so chalky. I really like just using a concealer brush just kind of smooth it all, and then start putting on your nice powdered eye shadow. Next one here is bronze. And this time the name does match, it's a good bronze. The next color here is called bronze, and it is very bronze, it's almost really like rusty

color, right there but this is a beautiful fog color. Again, you just rub that into your lid and your eye shadow would quickly adhere to it. You can add a little glitter to it, stick to it if you have trouble blending eye shadow bases and eye shadows definitely use these to help blend it. This one right here is gold. It's not very traditional gold it's more like a copper gold. And the last one is called horse radish.

And this is---- I know very popular one because I have some swatches on my site, and this is a nice shimmery sea foam green. And there it is all of my Nyx Jumbo crayon pencils. Super easy just draw on your lid, just like that. Draw the shape that you want and then put a little bit of powder and little bit of highlighter, eyebrows and you're good to go. Thanks again for joining me at
