-Please subscribe to my channel if you haven't already. See you guys soon. Hey there! Welcome to pursebuzz.com. Today, I'm gonna show a really hot look for 2009. It is the French Twist,

but it's not really a French Twist because it's actually the opposite. Instead of having it go all the way up, we'll have it go towards the bottom. In that way, you can have your ponytail on the side or you can just have it in the back. All funky and fun. It's almost like a mullet, professional, different, and party in the back. So you guys ready? Here we go. First thing, is I'm gonna give my roots a little bit of a lift, so I'm gonna take my flat iron and this kind of lift my roots up like this, like that. And if you haven't seen this done, you can actually check my ponytail pouf video and I'll show you the exact details as how to do it.

So, the first thing I do is I put my hot sauce in to protect my hair. You can get this at beautychoice.com along with the flat iron. I'm using the CHI Nano. I really like this one out of all the ones. I don't know, I just think this one is very great, easy to use. So, I'm just kinda lift up my root to a little bit here. There's no particular way you have to do it. You just want a little bit of a lift.

And we're doing this instead of teasing our hair that I had on earlier, so it's kind cute. You wanna make sure the ends are either curl or flat, just something a little bit nice or so. I don't have a lot of hairs. So when it comes down to the twist at the end, my hair is gonna be a little squirling, a little ratty looking if I don't flat iron it or curl it, so I'm gonna do that right now. Then, you're going to shape the first part of your hair, right here. If you want a little bit of a pouf, you can kind of do that right now.

So you just take it, pull it to the back and you twist, and that's all we're gonna really do is just kind of twist it, so here we go. So, you're gonna take this and you're just gonna twist it a little bit and you wanna make sure that the pouf in the front is descent. Then, I'm gonna take this piece right here in order to twist it inward. You take this part and you're gonna twist it.

And depending on how much hair you have, you can actually just grab a big ponytail piece, so just twist it. The reason I'm doing this, you know, on pieces is that my hair is very thin and so it will slip right out if I don't do it in pieces. It's almost like a little French braid twisty thing, here we go. A little bit more and then when you get to the end, you're just gonna twist it, see that.

Here's the part that's really fun is you're gonna stick a whole bunch of bobby pins in. So depending on if you have really thick hair, you may have to bobby pin this from the beginning. You're gonna take a little bit here and you're gonna pull it up on over. You're gonna take it, pull it up on over,

and you wanna make sure that's it really tight. Take a little bit from here and you're gonna pull it up on over, and this should be really tight to the point where it's not going to move. A couple of more here. So, what you're doing, see that, is you're gonna stick it in here. You're gonna kind of waive and take this piece of hair and you're taking it and you're tucking it underneath and that's how everything is fold in really tightly. So you're sticking this hair and you're sticking it underneath.

And once you feel that it's secure, you can stop. [unk] a piece from the bottom and you're gonna wrap it around, just kind of finish off the look nice and neatly. You're gonna wrap it to the very end, then you're gonna take it. Stick it underneath. Take your bobby pin, and you're gonna essentially stick that hair underneath in it,

and you're gonna tuck it right inside of that French twist because it's kind of hollow in there, so it's really easy. Once you're done, you can either finish it off with a headband, just like this and you could do a little hair ponytail on the side. You can curl it. You could do whatever you want. Super simple, just takes you about 5 minutes. You can try starting off with your hair wet, and then once you get the hang of it, you can do it with your hair dry. That's it.
