Creamy desserts so delicious, you'd never know they're low-calorie and diet-friendly.

The Best Frozen Desserts

The great thing about frozen treats is that unless you're a fan of brain freeze, you have to slow down and savor them. Choose the right ones and they're as guilt-free as they are delicious. That's where we come in. Working with a team of nutritionists, we found eight yummy options with 180 calories or less, minimal added sugar, and no more than six grams of saturated fat. So go ahead and indulge; these cool treats will satisfy your cravings and keep you slim.

What Makes a Winner

Companies submitted more than 90 new frozen desserts to FITNESS. Our experts -- Anar Allidina, RD, a dietitian in private practice in Toronto; Keri Gans, RD, the author of The Small Change Diet; and Marissa Lippert, RD, the author of The Cheater's Diet -- analyzed the ingredients and nutrition facts to help us determine which ones deserved to move to the next round of judging. Those finalists were sampled in blind taste tests and voted on by dozens of staffers throughout our company.

I always love product review articles (especially for healthy, delicious foods!) But, I hate having to click and wait for each item...9 or 10 times just to read an article that would easily fit on one page. Please consider adding an option to view the article all on one page.

this was very helpful for folks like me who would not really shop for these types of products. But every now & then you just want a "treat".

Appreciated it since look for those in the slideshow. Unfortunately, even tho find the brands in our area, they don't carry the particular ones you mention. Used to get Healthy Choice Fudge Bars, which thought were "excellent" for nutrional content, but they disappeared from market and replaced by other brands and types that were inferior (in my opinion) to those that replaced them. Discouraging, but will now be looking for two of the desserts you mentioned. Thank you!
