I started using plain yoghurt in place of sour cream and mayo if you dont like cottage cheese. You can hardly even tell the difference! BUT if you feel that completely giving up mayo is to ahrd to try half mayo half plain yogurt say for instance in macaroni/potato salads and trust me you will hardly be able to tell the difference in taste and feel great about the amount of fat you cut out of your dish :)
