How about dis-regarding the nut butter and having a square....what would that accumulate to? and would it be worth it? For me no because I am one of those people that once they get the taste in their mouth....I can't stop and want more.
2/13/2012 04:04:13 PM Report AbuseI am a chocoholic and appreciate ideas such as these. I usually eat 2 dark chocolate truffles for my evening snack. I will have to try this as I also love nut butters. Thanks Fitness for the great ideas.
8/9/2011 05:06:19 PM Report AbuseThis looks good -too good, and that is the problem. I could never eat a small portion of a snack like this. If I would eat it, I would have to eat more, and then some more, and then some more, etc. A lot of people with weight problems cannot tolerate foods such as this. We need to stay away from them to eliminate cravings.
6/16/2011 01:57:32 PM Report AbuseIts funny. I used to love chocolate, but after not eating sweets or candy or anything for as long as I have, this doesn't even look appetizing to me xD
5/14/2011 07:17:10 PM Report Abuseummm...okay...like with everything in life-read some advice-then check that suggestion elsewhere and on your own-compare and use the good sensible ideas you find-nothing is perfect-it may still be useful to know
3/18/2011 03:14:02 PM Report Abusehockeygal4ever: Changing up your nut butters adds variety to your diet, which is great. Different nut butters have different flavors and different mineral/micronurient profiles. Also, having a variety of options available are great for people with food allergies, like my kids.
11/27/2010 11:55:00 PM Report AbuseWhat is the purpose of using "almond" butter as opposed to a peanut butter? Just curious. I've seen that technically they are basically the same nutrition wise/calorie, etc., especially when you get a lower fat PB. I think I'd like PB better flavor wise but just curious what the reasoning was for using the other "butters" as opposed to a peanut?
9/23/2010 03:33:27 PM Report AbuseAwww... if you dont like it point out whats wrong, dont just complain. I thought it was excellent.
8/19/2010 05:12:41 PM Report Abusedo you all want some low fat cheese with your whine??? since when has a publication of anysort shown one serving of anything as an ad for that product/food??? get a grip and welcome to reality!
7/16/2010 08:56:26 AM Report AbuseYou all should chill out. really. they are just giving nice ideas. and its still better than a whole candy bar you would pick up and eat mindlessly

4/14/2010 11:35:41 AM Report AbuseCOME ON people.. common sense. It has chocolate!! One of the most caloric desserts!!!!! What do you want! a diet chocolate? 'cause that would taste goo! Also 79+79=158calories, I think someone needs to go back to grade school addition.
4/14/2010 11:29:25 AM Report AbuseNo, there are 2 servings on the plate. Not the whole 4 servings. So, technically, there's 158 calories on the plate. The idea of this recipe is to only eat one serving at a time, just to get your mind to think it got what it needed to curbe the craving.
3/24/2010 05:32:35 PM Report AbusePeople, get real. If it says the recipe makes 4 servings and there are 8 squares of chocolate then there are two pieces of chocolate per serving. Get it! One serving is the mini sandwich-2 squares of chocolate with the nut butter inbetween.
3/21/2010 08:31:42 PM Report AbuseThis would get 5 stars had it not been so missleading. It looks like the portion in which they are serving is ONE serving.. HOWEVER theres nearly 400 calories on that plate.. and only a couple of BITES! ugh
