Tofu Hummus


  • 1 package silken tofu
  • 1 15 1/2ounce can garbanzo beans (chickpeas), drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon  sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon  sea salt
  • 1 clove garlic
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon


1. Blend all ingredients in a food processor for 1 minute, or until smooth. If you prefer, add your choice of flavorings, such as roasted peppers, fresh herbs or spices.

2. For a thicker consistency, use less tofu; for a thinner consistency, add a little water.
