Come spring, asparagus are front and center in the produce section. These lovely green stalks are packed with folate (great for expectant moms), high in vitamins A and C, and rich in cancer-fighting antioxidants. Be sure to make use of these spears as soon as you see them -- asparagus tend to lose flavor once they are harvested, so finding them at the market and cooking them up that night guarantees the best taste possible.

4/1/2012 10:01:58 PM Report AbuseIt is possible to see everything at once. I agree it does add an extra step, but if you click on the "Print" icon under the Fitness logo then select "Print all slides" it won't actually print unless you select File<Print. But now you have the list of everything to read, copy or print.
4/28/2011 01:49:58 PM Report AbuseI totally agree with anonymours! Every time there is an article with multiple "slides", I rarely go thru it because of time issues- can't there just be a list, and then if you wanted more information you could look thru all the slides?
3/28/2011 10:36:48 PM Report AbuseI am a person who has little time to wade through all my e-mail everyday. I would have been very interested in finding out what the "Seasonal Foods to Eat Now" are, but when I found out that I had to go through page after page of things to find out what they are, I exited and went back to my other e-mail. Wish there had been a concise list up front, then more info for when I had time to go back.
3/28/2011 11:59:11 AM Report AbuseWhy does it say 0g Fat then 3g Fat for Asparagus?? Was it meant to be 3g Fiber???

3/27/2011 02:32:28 PM Report AbuseI really enjoy your articles BUT it would make my life so much easier if you would do a list of all the items you suggest or recommend etc. For instance, your article on "Seasonal Foods to Eat Now". If I could just copy and paste the list into a Word doc I wouldn't have to go back and forth between the article and Word 15 times. Thanks for listening.
