Zabaglione & Berries
Ingredients
- 2 cups cups mixed raspberries, blueberries and blackberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup marsala wine
- 8 egg yolks
Directions
1. Evenly divide berries among 4 serving glasses.
2. In a large saucepan over medium heat, bring 1 inch of water to a simmer.
3. Meanwhile, in a large copper or metal bowl, whisk together egg yolks and sugar. Whisk in the wine.
4. Place bowl over simmering water and whisk constantly for 4 minutes, or until mixture thickens and becomes pale, light and fluffy. Pour over berries and serve immediately.
