Toast with Walnut & Pear Spread

  • 1/2 cup  low-fat cottage cheese
  • 1 tablespoon  chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 medium pear, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons  honey
  • 1 slice whole-grain bread, toasted


1. Mix cottage cheese, walnuts, pear and honey (for smoother texture, puree in blender). Spread on toast.
