I tried this when training for my last half-marathon and it sat like a rock in my stomach. Maybe if it were taken more than the advised 15 before your run, it would work better.

I've used this in two half marathons so far. I take a bit around mile 6 and finish it by mile 8...keeps me going. PLUS: easy to digest. Doesn't bother my stomach. DOWNSIDE:Can make for sticky fingers.
