Best in Class: 2013 Breast Cancer Awareness Products

In a world full of breast cancer awareness products, it's hard to tell which ones are legit. Some don't even disclose how much they donate when we buy their pink products. Let's take a cue from our high school days and highlight the best in class -- the ones truly fighting the good fight. If all the pink products were graduating this month, these would be our superlative nominations.

Best Dressed

Instead of decking yourself out in shades of pink, opt for more subtle support with the Saks Fifth Avenue Key to the Cure T-Shirt. Not only will you look super fashionable (when Jennifer Aniston models the same shirt, you know it's a guarantee), but you'll get a big dose of the warm fuzzies every time you sport it: 100 percent of the proceeds are donated to the Women's Cancer Research Fund.

Most Inspirational

When life gets busy, sometimes we forget what we're fundraising for. Next time you need a little reminder -- and relaxation -- roll out Gaiam's Pink Ribbon II Yoga Mat. Up close, the pad is plastered with encouraging phrases like "courage," "hope," and "truth." When you step back, take in the ever-famous awareness ribbon and remember that you're helping the Breast Cancer Research Foundation work toward a cure. Bonus: Every purchase comes with a free yoga workout download.

Most Reliable

Clip on the New Balance VIA Slim Komen Pedometer at your next awareness event so you have accurate info for all those Instagrams, tweets, and Facebook updates. 10,000 steps? No problem. And the fact that your purchase is part of a guaranteed minimum donation of $500,000 to Susan G. Komen only gives you more to brag about. When it's for a good cause, we say brag away, friends. Brag away.

Most Supportive

The cute Ideology Ribbon Sports Bra protects your girls in more ways than one. That's because 5 percent of the sale price is dedicated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. And with moderate motion control, it bans the bounce during your lower-impact activities.

Most Outgoing

Pimp your ride with the Avail Inspire Bike. Designed by a breast cancer survivor who entered Liv/giant's Avail Inspire Design Contest, the Japanese cherry blossoms will not only get you noticed, but also serve as a reminder that, "Life is short, so exist in the present moment and celebrate the gift of life," winner Barbara Greenlee says. For each bike bought, 10 percent of the retail price goes to the Young Survival Coalition.

Best Bash

Surround yourself with breast cancer survivors, caregivers, and supporters alike and cycle for a cause at the three-day Tour de Pink Bike Ride, hosted by the Young Survival Coalition.
