At medical conferences across the country this year, he's been making the case for a Nutrient Rich Foods Index -- a ranking system for foods based on nutrients and calories. "The scale will help people make the best choices when buying breakfast cereal or peanut butter," Drewnowski says. We say it's an idea whose time has come.
