Good to know. The trainer at my last spin class had us do the antigravity stretching at cool down. It did relax me but I did have some back discomfort later in the day. Not sure if they were connected but I will avoid that from now on. Thanks!

SPINAL FORWARD FLEXION WITH ROTATION IS WHAT CAUSES TEARS FIBROUS PART OF THE DISK, ALLOWING THE INNER PART OF THE DISK TO BULGE OR HERNIATE. THE KNEES SHOULD BE BENT AND THE SPINE SHOULD BE KEPT IN A NEUTRAL POSITION WHEN BENDING FORWARD. WHEN THE KNEES ARE STRAIGHT, THE GLUTEUS MAXIMUS (BUTT MUSCLE) CAN NOT CONTRACT EFFECTIVELY. KNEES MUST BE BENT 20° FOR THE IT BAND MUST BE TAUGHT SO THE GLUT TO CONTRACT EFFECTIVELY.
